I thought he was a good Robin. Of course, I was a child at the time. And I haven't re-watched them since. Too hard to get through. And yes, Robin won't be in this movie. He is not dead, not yet born either.
It was on HBO a lil while ago (Batman and Robin)...I don't think I've ever seen worse acting in a huge budget movie.
Not thrilled that Bane will be in the movie. I was really hoping the next movie would really show off Batman's detective skills.
I still don't think nolan's done casting yet. You look at his movies and you see ensemble. This is close but not quite a swan song type of ensemble. Yet. They could still use one more, and I'm still hoping the Riddler makes an entrance. (He's green, for one superficial reason). I've said Robin Williams before but Joseph Gordon Levitt could still certainly swing in. Bane is unexpected but no one in the comics was ever able to break the bat except Bane - literally. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman:_Knightfall And if anything, at least Nolan will be able to right one of the million wrongs Schumacher did to fans. (Who turns the f***ing lights ON in Gotham f*** City?! A flamboyant director, who thought the campiness of 60s batman translated into the grunge generation, that's who.) Catwoman is mandatory in a batman story and Anne Hathaway will be able to fill that body suit perfectly. Plus, she's a great actress - see Rachel Getting Married or Havoc for references.
I think that article is bullshit. For the past week, shit like this has been coming out: Tom Hardy as Black Mask, Naomi Watts as Vicki Vale, Tom Hardy as Hugo Strange, unknown actor as Deadshot. I just have a feeling it's bullshit.
This is going to bomb so bad, he set such a high precedent for Dark Knight that this is going to be lame. Catwoman? No Riddler? I don't care about Aaron Eckart, IF Nolan decides that Two-Face will be the villian, we got our share in Dark Knight.
I think it will be a good movie. Nolan doesn't know how to make a bad movie. Two Face is dead. Catwoman could be a very good villain if Nolan re-imagines the character. Same goes for Bane. I just have a hard time believing a over-the-top character like Bane can work in a Nolan Batman movie. He'll more than likely re-imagine the character.
Didn't CNN say that female politician in Arizona was dead? She's clearly not. I'll believe it when some pictures come out.
Warner Brothers makes the movie. They would know. Pretty sure the release includes a comment from Nolan himself. This would be like the hospital annoucing Giffords was dead.
Of course they will. And it will most likely be a very, very gay-friendly actor. Like Chris O'Donnell.
^ that can't be right.....Tom Brady is filming Boys Don't Cry 2. I heard Welker signed on for it too.
Didn't realize there was a confirmation of"No Riddler" back in Oct. http://herocomplex.latimes.com/2010...-batman-film-and-that-it-wont-be-the-riddler/ Oh well.
