Pats didn't do much of it yesterday, even on David Harris. Steelers do it BIGTIME.....break out the stick-um.
This is a bit related...just a nitpicky observation of our glorious victory. Ever play an old madden game and try to recover a loose fumble? That's how the Jets looked last Sunday on fumbles and onside kicks. There were at least 2 fumbles (that I can remember: by Brady and Woodhead) that seemingly fell right to an untouched Jet for recovery, yet wthe Patriots out of nowhere got the recoveries. Imagine what would have happened if Pouha or Thomas picked up the ball on that Pace sack-fumble on the Pats' 20. I guess these plays were mostly unlucky, and didn't have to do much with fundamentals. But when you look at the onside kicks, I can't believe how close we came to letting the Pats get the ball back. I really hope Westhoff can come up with a better formation for next week, because if I'm Pittsburgh, I'll come kicking that ball straight up the middle just like the Pats. I lost my train of thought...
I don't see that happening as it hasnt been their mo the few times I saw them play this season, but then again it worked for the saints, right?
