And then... when you believe... I'm sure Sanchez will finally be able to sleep at night.

You seriously don't think Sanchez is franchise material?

Then you go draft another QB, I'll stick with him.

And yet you're critical of Sanchez in year 2?

    Your fail is amusing.

Hostile, I am just pointing out what you are. You are full of shit. Tell me you are not. I knew what I was dealing with, reading your first post.

There is a world of difference between saying Sanchez is a franchise QB and an elite QB. Nobody in their right mind is saying he is elite. I will give you a clue, check out the thread title.........Carefully note what it says:

    Mark Sanchez a F-r-a-n-c-h-i-s-e QB?

OK since I can tell you are excited here is a revelation for you. EVERY starting qb for a pro football franchise is a franchise qb! Take a few moments to digest that and get back to me.

The Jets now have a talented young QB, that we can build our offense around for many of years to come. For the posters who are dead wrong when saying "Sanchez isn't a franchise QB", I'll take what you all have to say with a grain of salt; because it's obvious that A) You have no idea what a franchise QB is. B) You haven't been a Jets fan long enough to understand what Sanchez means to this Jets franchise or C) You have no idea about the history of the NFL or football in general.

Are there rumors of our front office going after Vick this offseason? No.

Are the Jets looking to trade for a QB? No.

Are the Jets starting our veteran QB in Mark Brunell over Mark Sanchez? Nope.

Will the Jets draft a QB during the first 4 rounds of the draft? Not a chance in hell.

Sanchez isn't a franchise QB? I'll leave that up to Woody, Tanny & Rex to decide, because it's more than obvious that some of you are clueless.

Its still fairly early but barring injuries Sanchez is definitely a franchise QB…its all about wins and he wins period…his numbers are not Peytonesque but given the fact that he has only two years under his belt and little college experience its understandable…typically it takes a QB 3 to 4 years before you can really evaluate him…like Drew Brees some even longer…

But from what we have already seen he certainly has it…he performs when it matters…some HOF QB’s don’t have great comp% & rating numbers but were winners & deservedly are in the HOF like Elway, Aikman & Bradshaw…

Our own beloved Chad has great career comp% & rating stats but I have a feeling with him we would have lost to the Bengals in the playoffs last season & would not have stood a chance against Colts/Pats (even without the shoulder injuries)..

With a QB it’s always more than just the stats…which is the main argument against Sanchez…

So by your definition Dan Marino wasn't a franchise QB.

    Got it.............

He's not there yet but he is as clutch as anybody. He is only in his second year and third as a starting qb since entering college. Give him a few years and he may be as good as anybody. Right now he still has terrible spurts and brilliant spurts. I want to see how he does this week.

This guy gets crucified by a lot of people, yet forget it's his second year. Peyton, Brees, Rivers, Henne. They all took time to become what they are today.

Kid already has 4 playoff wins though, insane.

    lol henne

They are both winners. That is all that matters. I think all of the "analysts" get upset because they are not Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. Guess what..Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are at home while these two QB's are still in the hunt. I think Tebow will be a good QB for the same reasons..People are saying he will suck because he is not like Brady or Manning,,but he knows how to win and is willing to work his ass off.
