i know its the AFC title and there shouldnt be any problem getting amped, but I dont want these players to think Sunday was the accomplishment
most of thee guys were here last year and remember what it felt like to lose to indy.the rest are vets that haven't been this close(except for santonio).i don'tthink there's a need to worry about a let down.

idk bro im on the same thought as you....best game of the year by far to beat the patsies...now people are saying yeaaaa but the jets beat pitt 22-17 in the regular season....its only setting up to be a steeler toppling of us.... i need to do my part and stop talking about going to dallas for the superbowl because i really do feel we are going to lose this game, maybe not in a blowout, but a heartbreaking loss...either they kick a fg to win or folk misses one for us to win..
Just remind yourself of the 1980 Miracle on Ice. The most un-imaginable thing happened, the USA beat the Soviets. This in itself was a remarkable accomplishment, but not their main goal because they did not yet win the gold medal. So the team still kept the same passion and motivation for their next game and were able to defeat a Finland team that was also very good. Herb Brooks was a motivational coach, one of the best of all time, but hell Rex Ryan could be even better. I don't see any letdown happening. This is the year.
The jets know its not over yet. After last years loss to the Colts we're back in the same seat. Its unfinished business for this team.

Great analogy..,and totally true! I personally am having a really hard time imagining winning this game because we are 0-3 in my lifetime in title games. I know we have a great chance but the old banged up jet fan inside keeps playing mind tricks on me.
There is no way in hell that any player on the Jets is satisfied with the win on Sunday. They have been playing this game their entire careers with one goal in mind. The Jets will be ready to play this game. Stop being a pussy. It is never an easy road to hoisting the VLT on SB Sunday.
I've been thinking about it all week too. It has to be difficult to maintain last weeks level of intensity regardless of what lies ahead. I'm sure if anyone can get the Jets to respond appropriately, it's Rex.
