Feel free to post about your schools comitts. Some big names who are yet unsigned include Jadeveon Clowney, Tony Steward, Curtis Grant.
If Rutgers gets NJ 4 stars Savon Huggins, Marquise Wright and Josue Matias and a few other highly rated 3 stars then they could end up with a top 25 national class. They have the inside track on Huggins and Matias with Wright leaning towards UNC. Bringing in Hafley (one of the best young recruiters in the country) and Cignetti was a huge coup for them and one that Schiano sorely needed.
Pitt was hemorrhaging recruits after the Haywood incident. Todd Graham finally brought in his first, JUCO OL Zenel Demhasaj. New England delenda est.
UCF, obviously not recruited any of the big names out there, but George O'Leary and Co. have loaded up on a few talented JUCO Defensive linemen to help with the loss of some seniors. O'Leary has never taken this many JUCOs, I think with the ease of schedule next year, it's a real attempt at a perfect season. Really excited to have Toby Jackson (JUCO) and Jose Jose (JUCO) added just recently. Instant replacements for some seniors that are leaving. Toby enrolled this week. Charlie Strong has been doing a nice job stealing some recruits from UCF the last few months, so I noticed UCFs lead recruiter has visits scheduled with 3-4 recruits from the Louisville area, including 1 Louisville commitment. Would be nice to steal one away from them this time. The recruits I really would love to land is WR Juwan Caesar (6'4). We're his last visit before signing day. And/Or Anthony Denham (6'6) the 3rd best JUCO WR in the nation. UCF is graduating 3 playmaking WRs and wont have a WR over 6'1. UCF could use another star physical guy similar to Brandon Marshall/Mike Walker to solidify the position again.
If the big three were ever worried about the other schools in Florida taking some recruits from them, they better shift that attention to Louisville. Charlie Strong knows how to get kids to buy in, and they can take a lot of the borderline grades kids that the others can't. Expect to see WVU fall off soon because they used to be the location for the FL kids with grade issues (Geno Smith, Noel Devine, Ivan McCartney), but UL is going to clean up with them. On top of that, Charlie Strong is actually a really good coach, so expect them to be the only team in the BE with any kind of shot at knocking off TCU.
Actually, they tried to keep Shell as far away from Clowney during the visit as possible, they even went as far as to "block" him with Barrett Jones. They know he is solid to USCe, they just didn't want to offend Clowney by not letting Shell come(Oklahoma wouldn't let BJ Scott come with Julio Jones a few years ago, Julio was pissed). My confidence about Clowney climbed yesterday, it seems that Bama had everything his mom wanted and she felt at ease leave Clowney in Saban's hands. Mrs. Saban should get Recruiter of the Year if Clowney comes to Bama, she has a way of convincing recruit's mothers...
Agreed completely, just looking over their class so far nearly half of it is from Florida.7 commitments from Miami, 11 from the state all together. The Gators also have 11 in state commitments.
Oh boy, LB Brent Calloway drops to a 4* after committing to Auburn, I can already hear what will be said about the "Bama bias"...
Fresno State just landed a defensive end commit named: Suli Faletuipapai That has to be the best football player name I've ever heard.
haha Fresno's going to be a tough gig for most commentators. Their front seven has names like Faletuipapai, Toailoa, Ederaine, and Okpaulago.
