Troy had ZERO impact on the game Saturday. The announcers said it might've been because he's still favoring his injury. The biggest change it will have on us is the running game, because they don't have the players on D to stop our receivers anyway.
He's still hurt, but he should be healthier than he was for the Ravens. He'll be a pain, but not as much as would have been in say, week 10 when he wasn't injured.
Who gives a fuck how he feels. Punch him in the mouth and he falls just like any other player. Didn't Peko prove this?
Troy is a great football player, but he has also made plenty of cheap shots in his career beginning w/usc. he is playing on 1 leg and i personally hope we run the ball right at him and run him over repeatedly.
im not sure he is so healthy. heard weird shit on twitter his injury is worse than it was.(rumors of course)
Polamalu has missed his share of tackles this year. My guess it's related to his nagging injury, which they've been vague about (ankle- or achillles-related). He comes in at a million miles an hour but probably doesn't have the ability to change direction quite as fast. Truth be told though, TP's always had some missed tackles like the ones he had against Baltimore. This isn't the first year it's happened. He almost plays too fast sometimes. That said, I'm happy he'll be on the field and we're a much more dynamic and dangerous team with him obviously. He made huge, game-changing plays several times this year, and I'm sure your coaching staff and Sanchez will make sure to be aware of him at all times...even if he's not truly 100%.
Sounds like when he does play he'll have to play with some pain. Somehow I don't see that being a problem for him, lol.
Troy is a great player and when he is on the field the Steeler's defense becomes elite. That being said, if Shonn Greene can get to the second level on a run and faces up with TP, without a doubt Greene is plowing his ass over for a TD. Injured or not, Greene wins that match up but it sure as hell won't be easy to get to the second level on that D.
Harrison is fine...so is Troy Tomlin said he is very pleased with the health of the team. All will be a go including Aaron Smith who hasn't played in a while.
The coach said that even if Smith is deemed ready to go it would probably be on a limited basis in the AFC championship game Sunday against the Jets at Heinz Field.
That is more because of the play of Ziggy Hood...our 2009 1st round pick. He has been playing over the last 2-3 weeks and is coming off his best game yet. Keisel, Hampton, Hood, Smith, Hoke, and Eason are going to be tough to handle on the Dline
No...I'm going off an interview he did yesterday on ESPN radio in Pittsburgh. He said it was nothing.
Didn't we meet them already?? ONnly allowing 1 sack and 2 TOTAL hits on the QB. That was when Hunter was fresh too, now he's settled in very nice doing it again the very next week against Da Bears. This is going to be a great game. IMO the Packers are going to slaughter the Bears and our game will be fun to watch for all fans. Especially Jet fans
