    1. We must sign our guys first and foremost

    2. After that, I'd like only two guys out of Ravens lineup; Ngata and Suggs.

I don't agree. We have good depth at many positions and we should look into re-signing said depth before looking somewhere else.

LT will only (maybe) retire if we win the SB... and in that case I don't give a fuck about FA...

IF Cromartie isn't re-signed I'm guessing we'd give Wilson a shot at #2 CB with Coleman sticking at the nickel...

T-Rich's obvious replacement is Conner. I don't see us having 2 FBs on the team next year... and if we do the CS liked that FB from training camp (James Davis) who would compliment Conner well (guy has good hands).

It would be great to sign a guy like Landry but we prob won't have the cap space... and Pool/Lowery/E. Smith/Ihedigbo/Leonhard are a very good group of safeties so I don't see us going after a guy like Nakamura (we might if E. Smith leaves).
Zbikowski is a guy the Ravens will want to keep for when Reed retires...

    You don't want reed either...

suggs and ngata are the only two on that team worth looking at.

Any team in the NFL could use Ed Reed.

If Cromartie isnt resigned that means well have 2 less cornerbacks on the roster next year than we did this year (lowery now safety). Which makes it absolutely ESSENTIAL that we sign at least 1 or 2 corners via free agency. Short on corners = Jets lose in playoffs.

We got Jason Taylor almost definitely gone, possible retirement of Jenkins, aged defensive line, possible loss of Brad Smith, pretty pathetic pass rush for 90% of the season, possible loss of Ellis (depending on if he retires or $$$ and what not)

I understand we have to sign our own guys but Tanny does his magic in the free agency, there are 52 guys on the roster teams always need more.

Agree, should be the Jet's #1 target.

I've heard Landry is a big supporter of Rex.

But we can't get all of the FA we want. I wouldn't want some random Ravens player just because he played for the Ravens

    Not true at all.

He's one dimensional, very very expensive and on the downside of his career.

Leave him for the dan snyders of the NFL to waste their money and roster spot on.

He's a playmaker. He had 8 picks in 10 games this year. I get that you hate the guy because you're a Steelers fan but be real.

Crap howd I miss Landry didnt see him earlier.

Here was a real list of their guys who are unsigned though.

There are a potential class of 17 unrestricted free agents on the Ravens. That includes seven starters (cornerback Chris Carr, guard Chris Chester, safety Dawan Landry, fullback Le’Ron McClain, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, cornerback Josh Wilson, offensive tackle Marshal Yanda) and two specialists (kicker Billy Cundiff and punter Sam Koch).

And hmm guess Ngata is a FA, too bad hes way too expensive though

I agree with what you wrote, but I think Pouha is in a unique position. I think he took time off and did missionary work, so although he's in his late twenties, he has very little wear and tear on his body. DL definitely needs to be upgraded though.

Will be very interesting to see how Tanny approaches the offseason with the 5 big free agents we have: Edwards, Holmes, Harris, Cromartie, Smith.

I think signing the first three are IMPERATIVE. It has to happen. Although we lost a 2nd rounder for Cro, I think he will demand a shit load of money as a cornerback, mainly because of the market value for above average corners. So I can see him not being back next year. I love Brad Smith, and hope we resign him, but I can see some other team offering him a ton of money because they want to utilize him more than we do. Hopefully we win the SB, and some of these guys would take a discount to stay here. Wishful thinking though.

He won't hit free agency, they'll slap the franchise tag on him. And before somebody says "well what if there is no franchise tag with the new CBA"...get real. The franchise tag is vitally important for NFL franchises and something owners will never relinquish.

Pouha is a fresh 30 y.o. cause he didnt get into the NFL until he was 26. His age is up there but he doesn't have the milage on his body. Kinda like how TJ was a 2nd/3rd back his first few years in the league.

Ngata Suggs or Zbikowistowski or whatever the fuck his name is (too lazy to go back 4 posts)

    I am being real.

    That is his one dimension.

    That's it....

He can't hit, and he can't run support.

He wouldn't get as many interceptions without the front 7 he plays behind too.

The ravens hurries knockdowns and sacks all feed into that...

I wouldn't mind taking a look at Dawan Landry and/or Haloti Ngata.....but we really should take care of our own free agents first.
