He made a point of saying last night on TV that choosing to kick was a horrible decision by BB.

Not on YES today. Nets have a game at 4. I remember last year he wasn't on MLK day cause it was the day after they beat the Chargers.

I don't see how. Once you stop the other team on the first drive and get the ball you're in the clear.

I have kept up with this thread-----but I have not listened to him for quite a while now--that said today I am interested in how much crow that fat bastard can force down his throat----but then again he will make excuses and claim he knew it all along or / picked the Jets to cover/ win. Let us know if he is on YES at 4pm or just the radio today? The calls should be priceless ....hell I might even call him to talk womens hurling

Because the Pats D was suspect, and as Bruschi said in his blog, the Pats getting out to a quick lead would be big for their confidence.

I think it makes perfect sense for a team with a better offense than defense to take the ball at the start of the game. Getting it to start the half is overrated if you're losing by 21 points at the time.

I could've sworn he said the Nets moved their game up to 7pm for him... I doubt the channel guides would have been update if that's the case

I think he said they offered but he declined.

The game is at Golden State, the Nets have no say in the matter.

It would be great if Bart Scott showed up unannounced and kicked his fucking door down.

Understood. I'm saying the way the game played out, choosng to kick off didn't hurt the Pats at all. If anything it gave them the ball to open the second half down 14-3, in hindsight it helped them.

I don't think he gets 10 minutes into his monologue before he brings up that or the Jets post game, on field antics.

That's certainly true, but he also criticized them going for the two point conversion when it was 14-9, even though that also worked.

I actually think he's going to go the route of astonishment, and praise the Jets like crazy. I have to think he'd like to mend fences with the Jets, it's not good for his show that he can't get anyone associated with the team on his show. Maybe they'll give him Steve Yarnell
