Tom Jackson's lame excuse

    Bart Scott laid Tom Jackson out in his postgame interview last night.

    This morning on Mike & Mike, Jackson came up with one of the lamest excuses that I've ever heard for dissing the Jets before the game.
    Jackson claimed that he was rooting for the Jets but that he thought they needed extra incentive. That's why he kept reminding them that the Pats beat them 45-3 in their last game.

    Yeah, right Tom. That's one of the most imaginative pieces of back pedalling that I've heard since Mike Shanahan said that he pulled Donovan McNabb out of the game because he was concerned about McNabb's cardio-vascular conditioning.

    I like Tom Jackson, he's one of the few ESPN NFL guys that isn't a complete mongoloid.

    All week Jackson kept saying the Jets had absolutely no chance.

    He also kept saying we woke up a sleeping giant.

    Said that the Jets should not wake up a sleeping giant and that the Jets would lose to NE 31-10. That was why Scott also said "KEYSHAWN GOT OUR BACK" since Keyshawn was the lone person who picked the Jets to win.

    FTR....EVERYBODY on that ESPN panel picked the Pats to win....except Keyshawn.

    I like Tom Jackson, but he was dead-wrong in burrying the Pats after 31-0 Buffalo in 2003.....and Rush Limbaugh was right.

    And TJ backstabbed Rush for no reason AFTER the left. He should have attacked him on the air when he said his McNabb comments if he was so upset by them. Phoney !!

    Not a political rant, just a professional ethics rant.

    TJ is one of the best football analysts on TV. He got this one wrong, but I still like him over 99% of the other yahoos on tv and he can laugh at himself which is cool.

    I like TJ more than Rush.
