Shows it 3 different times. It does not look like he touches it, and even the announcer says "it kinda just squirts out"

I mean the point I was making was the Ravens just made awful awful plays to open the door for a Steeler comeback. Other than the offense basically giving you the ball 3 times in great field position their defense was having a field day

LOL you are hilarious. If it wasn't for the Steelers gifting the ball to the Ravens it would have been a blowout. Steelers dominated in every phase of the game.

Oh, the injury card...that's a fun one. And Bryant McFadden is one of the worst starting corners in the NFL so fuck that guy. Matt Leinart could make Bryant McFadden look like a PoS.

No offense but there is no place short of an parallel universe, where Hood is better than Smith. Smith is the best 3-4 De in football.

"Everybody is banged up at this point. They have some OL issues, which bodes well for us."

The Steelers will have the SAME offensive line that faced you last game. Not 1 player has changed. The only difference is Ramon Foster has had more time to settle in after taking the job from Trai Essex.

In addition, they will have Miller healthy meaning they can effectively run the 2 TE sets. David Johnson stinks and he was forced into action last meeting.

Sorry the Jets do not have a back capable of 100 yards against the Steelers.
Ray Rice was the last back to do that..I think he had 27 yards yesterday.

You're right. The Jets have two backs capable of 100 yards against the Steelers.

At this point, Hood is better. Hood is healthy. Hood is younger. Hood was a first round draft pick..Smith was a 4-5 round pick. Ziggy Hood is the real deal.
Even if Smith comes back, he will not be 100% in terms of strength, speed, and conditioning and there would be a drop off in play versus Hood.

Unlike Matt Spaeth who dropped the potential game winning touchdown against the Jets. Heath Miller can block AND catch in the red zone. One of the more unheralded offensive weapons in the league.

Hood is finally showing the burst we expected as a first rounder but when healthy and in game shape, Aaron Smith is a beast in our system.

Having said that...I think he is done as a Steeler after this season because of the cap hit and his injury history the last few years. Plus Hood has shown he can handle the position.

Steelers had more rushing yards versus Jets than vice-versa.

Thanks. Both the proud parents-to-be were stunned that Ravens/Steelers game didn't send her into labor ;-)

I see Stonio is sharing his stash with the fans.

Last month, your two RBs did not hit 100 yards COMBINED. And, that was without Troy Polamalu. The Jets offense scored one touchdown.

Not too worried about a rushing explosion.

Man the guy, Smith, has been in the league for how long playing at a top level? That is like bringing up Tom Brady is a 6th round pick therefore Matt Ryan is better because he is younger and was a 1st round pick.

It doesn't matter. I am well aware of where they picked Hood. It means jacks shit when comparing him to Smith at this point.

We agree to disagree, I think Smith is a better player and is a difference maker on the Steelers D. Hood is not in my opinion. That is regardless of where Hood was drafted in relation to Smith.

Edit: All things being equal, Smith would start over Hood.

LT Averaged 4.5 YPC and Greene 3.3

Where im from those are pretty good numbers.

We just didnt get TDs when in the redzone, but our O was just breaking out of a rut that game.

Hood is healthier and in better shape.
If you are saying the Steelers are better with a weakened and out of shape Smith in the lineup, you are mistaken. It is physically not possible for Smith to be better than Hood THIS SEASON. Maybe next season if they are both healthy, Smith may have the edge, but even that is questionable at this point due to their ages.

In engrish, Smith is the better player. All things being equal (Please Google this as you have no earthly fucking idea what that means.) would start over Hood.

Ok, obviously you have a difficult time with reading comprehension, your name should be Pittjunc, this argument is over. I am done, good luck next week.

Obviously you are mentally retarded. Who in the fuck would care about who the better player is in a historical sense? We are talking about the game THIS FUCKING WEEK and in the foreseeable future. It matters who is healthier THIS FUCKING WEEK. Maybe we should bring Mean Joe Greene and LC Greenwood into this thread. They are both better than Hood and Smith. Are you really trying to say Smith is going to be more productive than Hood over the next three years? Dumbass.
