Some of you guys ripped Cotchery after his 1st bad game ever as a JET.

Truth is he has been our most dependable receiver for years w/ great hands.
Add to that, he always comes through vs the Pats making plays along the way..

His play today was the pivotal play which stopped the PATRIOTS momentum and swung it right back to us.

The guy is a baller and deserves mad props...

    Way to bring it J-Co!

On 3rd down with the game on the line there's no one on the team I'd rather see it thrown to.

Cotchery needs to be a Jet for life.

He had a rough season and wasn't targeted as much but he was huge today. Great to have him as a 3.

My favorite play is him landing on the Pats DB and getting up and running it in. Think it was 2006 up in NE.

    Hell Yeah!

His catch and run was very reminiscent of that play. Awkward smoothness.

The cut he made on the 58 yard catch tonight was a thing of beauty. And to stay in bounds too.

    Cotchery is Mr. YAC.

Cant agree with you guys more. 16 months ago, he was our number one WR and has taken on the #3 WR role, with the addition of Holmes and edwards, without a voice of discontent. He is a great possesion WR that is difficult to defemd in any 3 WR set. Had 1 bad game against the Packers....he is a JET!

J-Co played like we thought he would the whole season during today's game. He's invaluable to this offense when he is on his game. He got shook up a bit this year for whatever reason but he's the Chrebet this team needs right now. Good routes, better hands, always reliable. He's making a huge case for himself in these playoffs and I hope he repeats today's performance against the Steelers.

That might be my favorite play of all time, and if not, it's damn close.

+1 on Cotchery needing to be a Jet for life. He's such a clutch player. He and Ellis are my 2 favorite players on the team, both of them had up and down seasons, so I'm glad they played a great game this evening.

Nicely stated. His lack of a selfish ego (like W. Chrebet... and rather unlike K. Johnson) has always been appreciated by Jets fans. His snag (despite his groin injury) at/vs. the Browns this year remains one of my all-time favorite Jet receptions.

A lot of people wanted him off the team after that one game. That diving OT catch against Cleveland should be the defining play of his career.

I've been rocking the Cotchery jersey the last few weeks. I hope I can wear it in three weeks.

He didn't play well in a few games this season and I think he must have dropped more passes this season than he did in his entire career combined but I can't say that I ever lost faith in him.

He was huge in the win today and this type of performance is why he is generally above criticism even when he does have a poor showing.

Huge the way Rex held out a third finger in the press conference when a reporter referenced the Jets' "two big receivers". J-Co was money tonight and always. Go Jets!!!

That really showed the commitment he has for this team and this game. He was our #1 WR last season until we traded for Edwards and he has been a great asset to the Jets. He had a few bad - ok, really bad - games this season but he's putting that behind him and proving that he is the same clutch WR he always was. I'm glad J-Co is on this team. I hope he stays on this team.
