Was it cold enough? It was dark out, does it count as a night game? I only ask this of the genius group that says mark is nothing more than a fair weather daytime qb. Convinced yet?
2 years.......4 road playoff wins. Unreal. When he gets his accuracy up (and I think he will), he will be ELITE!!!!!
This Kid has a helluva future in front of him. All he really needs is to get himself under control at the start of games. He's emotional but hopefully, that changes as times goes on. If he harnesses that emotion and channels it into wins, he could be New York's version of Bret Farve if not better as he does seem to be resilient if still just a lil bit raw.
THIS! PHUCK fantasy football stats, I want the QB of my team to drive the team down in crunch time and take care of business when it really matters most.......... :jets:
my dad was in the hospital recovering from surgery, so that day I went to visit him and snuck a 6pack in with me (under some food in a small cooler) to watch the draft with him. too bad the doctor walked in right when we were trying to really pay attention, then We did a J-E-T-S chant and the nurse came in the room to see if everything was OK. :shit: :jets:
of course in the game thread some idiot was callling for us to get a new qb next year after the first drive.
I argue every week with a guy that has been a Jet fan for over 50 years about how good Sanchez is and will be...after today he has jumped on the Nacho Wagon.
Here's an amazing stat for all the doubters - if the Jets win on Sunday, Sanchez will have more road playoff wins than any other quarterback in NFL history.
If we win next week ... and I think we will ... the head-to-head scoreboard will look like this: Sanchez 3 - Brady 2 Sanchez 2 - Manning 1 Sanchez 2 - Roethlisberger 0 That would be pretty impressive!
People are so stupid it's mind-boggling. Some imbecile SOJ fan in my local bar was saying on Saturday, that our only chance to beat the Pats was if we started Clemens. I wish idiots like that would find another team to root for.
I'll eat crow. Do I think he's elite? Hell no. But he's winning games and that's what counts. When the game's on the line is when you see him at his best. I still don't think he's an elite talent, but much more of a game manager. I'm more than okay with that if the games keep turning out the way that they do. While it's very early in his career, he's already basically taking the career path of Derek Jeter. Derek Jeter was never off the charts, but he's a winner and he's clutch. If Sanchez can be the Jeter of this franchise, then they got an amazing player obviously. Two more wins...c'mon Jets!!
