Leaving work in two hours (half day)...just can't wait to get the party started. My 7 year old just called me and asked when I was coming home to get ready. Wife said he's already in gear and doing the chant!
It's GO TIME! 12 hours from now I'll be celebrating the biggest win of my fandom (1977-present)....or lamenting the heartbreak. All I ask is that the Jets make us proud. ive been waiting for this day!! i can't believe that its finally here!! its GAMEDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY this is the oldest one in the book but a little fun for a gameday wakeup a JETS fan, a steelers fan and a patriots fan are climbing a mountain and arguing about who loves their team more. the steelers fan insists that he is the most loyal. "this is for the steelers!" he yells, and jumps off the side of the mountain. not to be outdone, the JETS fan is next to profess his love for his team. he yells, "this is for the JETS!" And pushes the patriots fan off the mountain... J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!
Off to church till noon, then likely hanging with the locals for a while to see their Bears against Seattle. I will probably wind up home and I believe steaks will be on da grill tonight...

I hope this game is well in hand early enough. I have to be at the airport at 7:30, and football just doesn't cut it on the radio.
Yeah, game day is like Christmas as a kid, except now, I'm old, and I don't get no presents.. wait... what? I'm continue the same ritual of going to the local deli, getting a hungryman sammich (3 eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, potatoes and cheese on a hero), nice large regular coffee from 7-11, today's paper some scratch offs. I haven't gotten drunk in 6 months. I don't know if I will make through the day...
Burn the boats! May have to break out the Chrebet jersey... hasn't been worn since the 41-0 dismantling of Colts... I beat the Pats twice in Madden 2011 on the PS3 last night so we have nothing to worry about. Ellis was a sack machine.
I'll have to listen to the first 15 minutes or so on the radio. At least Bob Wisucsian (sp) is great to listen to
