Time to make our picks guys!!!!!!! I made the thread last week. I wasn't going to this week, but I am superstitious BIG TIME. haha. Round 1: Patriots-14 Jets-28 Round 2: Jets-3 Patriots-45 Something has to give! I think Sanchez plays his best game as a Pro. Round 3: Jets-34 Patriots-27 Final What do you guys think?
28-17 Jets. 21-17 late....Edwards shakes single coverage outside on play action after a good punt by NE and ices it. The collective media then gets on Sanchez's jock.
I keep changing the score. I don't see the Jets D holding the Pats offense and I don't see the Jets having a high scoring game.....but at the same time I see the Jets keeping it close. Pats 28 Jets 20
With 2:30 left and NE up 24-21. As usual BB continues passing just to run up the score. Brady tries to throw a bomb against Cro, but is picked off. Sanchez runs the 2min offense perfectly and hits Holmes in the endzone with 40sec left. Our D holds and jets win 28-24.
Jets 31, Pats 17 The Jets get a lead early, keep pounding the ball and taking shots when the Pats bring extra guys to stop the run, and keep Brady off the field. And, Brady is due to have a few picks, including one on the first series.
38-24 Jets. I think the Jets will come all guns blazing. They'll have a non offensive TD, Brady WILL throw a pick in this game, while Sanchez plays mistake free game with a 300 yard efford. Our run game will suffer a little, but thats because we'll pass with great success. Welker would get 7 catches, but only 50 yards, bunch of them being quick one-step-drop passes, the ones he always gets. Branch will be "irrelevant". Edwards and/or Santonio will burn McOveerated twice for 30+ yard gains. Ben Jarvis Shit Ellis will be stomped over. Jets will greatly disguise their coverages while Brady throws a pick trying to comeback from behind. Offensively, Brad Smith will set up a few big drives picking up nice yardage on key plays. I just think Rex did not come out with a complete gameplan last time around. He had a few wrinkles in his pocket he did not use since we fell behind too early, too soon. Think time around, its personal. Its personal because he lost the "marquee game" of the year in an embarrassing fashion on national TV, and is up against the same team in another game nationally televised. This game is about as much about Rex, as it is about simply winning. Rex will make sure Brady sees the turf several times to let him know not to fuck with him again. Bart Scott takes a nice lick at that little shit face they call Welker.
Jets 21 Pats 19 Pats gain lots of yards but only 1 td. Settle for four FG in the red zone. Jets D bends but doesn't break. Jets losing going into halftime & big drive @ ending of the game to take the lead (after Brady once again leads Pats for another FG).
31-13 Jets, Welker sent into early retirement, Scott misses AFCC for the hit that does him in. Brady claims the Jets cheated in post game presser, Belli limp dick handshakes Rex at 0:00. Dufflebagz kills himself as he said he would, and TGG lives happily ever after. That's your ballgame folks.
Pats - 485,267 Jets - 1 The Jets score on a seldom-called (in America) rouge. Oh, sorry. I was basing this on what I had heard this week from the media.
