It is time for him to step the f*** up!! Rex and Pettine went to his house to officially recruit him to become a STAR. Please don't kid ourselves, they expected huge things from this guy and decided to try and get him in FA and not Ray Lewis. Lewis is still dominating and instilling fear in opposing offenses while Bart Scott is playing above-average.

I know what his role in the defense is....to basically take slam the fullback or lead blocker for David Harris to make the play. He's done a GREAT job at that, but in coverage and on blitzes, he needs to make some BIG plays. I was expecting the Bart Scott that came around the corner on Big Ben and absolutely destroyed him, who was the same guy that ripped the ball out of brandon jacobs hands in the preseason game last year. That's the player we need to see step up and control the middle of this field this sunday.

Bart Scott has been the man all year and anyone who thinks otherwise has no idea what he does for our run defense.

All that other stuff you want would be nice but that isn't the type of player he is except for a few highlights here and there.

I feel like whenever a run is being stopped for a negative gain Bart Scott is always the first one to hit the RB. He has to have gotten his fair share of tackles for loss

Ray Lewis is still playing at an absurdly high level. Did you see that sack he had on Cassel in the playoff game? Beastly.

Hate to hijack this topic but lets go Jason Taylor. I hate your guts but for how long have the Pats beat you? Same as us. Make it happen this Sunday. Do something!

Congrats for using stats to assess a player's performance.

You don't understand his role in a 3-4 defense.

He is great against the run. Huge asset if we end up playing the steelers or ravens. But, huge but, he need to get the eff out of the game if woodhead is in the backfield. He's been beaten out of the backfield way too often this year. We can have Smith drop down and play linebacker when Woodhead is in the game. Bart Scott needs to step up his coverage skills....just sayin

Did you even watch the game last sunday?

    Come on man. Just stop!

Bart Scott was a BEAST last week, and SAVED the game for us when he made that HUGE tackle on Blair White(?) on 2nd down with a minute left in the game last saturday. He shed his blocker, was totally out of position and made a HUGE tackle to save the first down and probably 15 more yards, a first down, and THE GAME.

I'm just about done with this message board, its gotten worse and worse the last two years or so, trolls running this place wild and mods doing nothing about it.

Bart Scott saved the game and gave our offense the chance to get the ball back and win the game.

    Just stop you clueless troll.

    Overreact much?

But yea, Bart did save us that game last week for sure. I'd take consistent run stuffing, tackles with techniques than hit or miss slams that may make ESPN highlight reel once in awhile.
