I think he's already been cleared for contact. And so has Hernadez. And Connelly for that matter. The Jets are going to have to deal with changing formations and players all day long. Cromartie is going to have to keep track of them better then his kids. I sense some fear here.
Sums it up pretty well. Offensive gameplan was a disaster. Some big final drives by Sanchez made the coaching staff falsely believe that it's better to air the ball out w/ Sanchez instead of trying to pound the ball. It was a stupid error that they realized only after Brady & the Pats has slapped the Jets all over the field. Then they spent the second, third, fourth quarters having that lesson pounded into them in an embarrassing fashion ... as they fell further behind & had to keep throwing the ball to try & catch up.
Why shouldn't the Jets and their fans think that it was an outlier? Every other game, aside from the Bills games, were close games. The Jets beat the Pats once (with basically the same team, despite everyone pretending the Pats have changed that much since that game), and the Pats needed the game because the Jets had a tie-breaker. The fact is that the game means nothing to either team now. I think we all can also agree that the Pats wont win 45-3, and it should be a relatively close game. The only question is how good will Sanchez play, and how awful will Schotty be. If Sanchez plays like crap (likely) and Schotty coaches scared (likely), the Pats have a good chance to win. If they dont, the Jets will keep it close and can win this game.
No it was definitely a perfect storm in terms of a 45-3 whipping. In that sense it was an outlier. But because the Patriots were able to beat up some other pretty good defensive teams it wasn't just that. I'm sure that no-one on the Jets is discounting what the Patriots offense can do as if it can't happen again.
If you think this Pats offense is anything like it was in week 2 you are delusional or in denial. It won't be 45-3 but you aren't holding them to 14 either.
My avatars have been called FAT, HORSEFACE for two of them lol and the worst that could be of this model. http://www.bostonpromodeling.com/pics/ my collection of avatars
They really are that good. When Tom Brady got his hair plugs, he regained the confidence that he needed to have a successful season. Cheatriots... they even cheat male pattern baldness.
Only way the Jets win is if they get constant pressure on Brady, get some sacks and make him throw a few picks.
LOL, I hear enough of this delusional mess on 660 WFAN from some Jet fan callers. And Mike Francesca gets his jollies from it.
