Uh oh. I mean, if the Cromartie comment was a secret master plan by Rex to trick Brady into throwing at Cromartie in double-coverage, what could this possibly be?

We're going to need a cypher from the Pentagon to crack these secret messages! This is like a real life License To Kill meets The Adventures of Ford Fairlane!!

That was funny. But you know if Welker breaks a foot in this game the blame will be squarely on Sarah Palin.

    Wait, wrong thread.

i thought the patriots were the class of the NFL? i thought they do their talking on the field, although to be fair, i was told they don't talk at all.

This is a personal issue, involving personal affairs between a man and his wife (and whatever third parties they deem acceptable to partake - freak).
It is incredibly classless to bring up another man's personal affairs in public discussions. Whether it be alluded to or implicitly implied, it lacks tact.
This is directly in opposition of what the patriots are about.
so, methinks i've been given a bunch of horseshit (the pats are the class of the nfl), or people turn a blind eye to the hypocrisy staring them in the face.

my stance, i don't fucking care, and this entire post is satire. but it does bring up a few interesting talking points methinks.

The pretty funny wasn't sarcastic, I got a good chuckle out of it.

Now we need to crank it into overdrive and a Jets WR needs to rip on Belichick for ditching his wife for his secretary. Then it'd really be on.

That's about right too. I wonder if the players will back Rex up here.

He's small, but is not afraid to go toe to toe with anyone.

While I'm sure it was all in good fun (and it is pretty funny), I'd like to see Revis knock this midget down on his ass early in the game.

Agreed. It would be more fun w/ the Pat & Jets both trash talking each other. Welker was funny.

Hopefully, the media can now start relaxing & actually having fun w/ this pregame banter.

It took long enough for someone to do that.

    Well done Wes

Jet fans, you don't see this as being too personal?

IMO this is a cheap shot at Rex. Everything Rex has said has been football related.

Maybe I'm too protective of my Jets but this was beyond the realm of football now and I hope Bart Scott barks back.

Exactly... every time they talk about what a player says they're commenting it like he's the US ambassador (and thanks to Wikileaks we know now they say much worse stuff :p).

Jesus christ, it's a game... relax!
