Damn, I've listened to 1050 espn for two full weeks now & the Michael Kay show really sucks. Two guys basically repeating themselves non-stop & constantly agreeing w/ each other & rarely taking any calls. So much time spent on Cromartie's comments that they barely bothered talking about the game itself. No damn talk on losing an starting O-Lineman today. Not one comment/call on strategy or schemes at all. NY Sports radio sucks during the weekday afternoons on both stations.
Does anybody really believe that the NFL would tell the Jets to put players on Mike's show. Plus, does anyone else thinks Mike's side of this story is complete bullshit?
Before I listened to this show, I was like why wouldn't you guys just listen to Michael Kay, he seems like a good guy. Then I listened to this show and within a few minutes I got considerably dumber. Kay's show is awful.
I f****g forced myself for two weeks to endure this show because I wanted to like it so bad but I've given up. Considering how out of control Francesa is, 1050 can really rake in some listeners if they put on someone who doesn't suck so bad. I dunno. Maybe I need to buy XM or something. Need a 3rd sports station in this city or need to find another station on the net.
Kay is an insufferable douche. What makes Mike different is he may be a douche - but at least he's an entertaining douche.
Stopped following baseball a long time ago but I just assumed that Kay was better when it comes to the Yankees. If he sucks this bad doing baseball too then I'm amazed he's got a job. Think I'm gonna break down & join the crowd & just listen to Fatcesa just for the laughs.
