This Pats team is not THAT good!!

Man-for-man the Jets may have a more "talented" roster. But talent doesn't necessarily produce results. If it did, then the Super Bowl would go through San Diego or another NFL city that's home to an under-achieving team.

That also doesn't account for the notion that some positions are more important than others. When you have a clear advantage at quarterback, that makes up for several other areas, and then some.

So we have the New England "We can put 8 receivers on the field at the same time" Patriots vs. the New York "We are the most talented team in the league, despite the fact that we never look it" Jets.

From reading some other threads, after Mangini's recent firing, I got the impression that there are some Jets fans here who like him. That's why I added him to the list. In addition, wasn't there a time the NY fans were calling him " Mangenious " ?

I wasn't a big fan of Mangina when he was with the Pats, and my distaste for him has only grown with each passing season.

That's exactly my point. They had a good reason to show up the first time vs the Pats and didn't. I think they'll play well against the Pats this weekend, but I can't predict what will happen. This team's been all over the map.
