Cro ain't too smart. Cro would be better served by stfu & just focussing on playing football. Walk the walk.
obviously they will try to do something with the football when the time comes for now, theyre just giving honest answers to POSED questions, like they have done for the entire season cro might have gone a little overboard with the, "he knows better than to come at me" angle, but cornerbacks remember their successes, not when they get lit up ... its the only way to survive at that position
If Cro gets torched this week, he probably will have played his way off this team. He will want 8-10 per year, and is clearly not worth it. Cro really put pressure on himself, and I just hope his play can cash the check his mouth wrote.
Ha I was kidding. I was trying to use Junc's uncanny ability to intentionally neglect stats/facts that counter his argument, but as you see I cannot do it so flawlessly.
I agree, I hope this is a game where Schotty comes out trying to score td's early, because if he can get a lead, the Jets can do what the Ravens did to the Pats last year. Again, most people are ignoring the fact that Brady is due to throw picks, and a lot of them. If the Jets offense can force the Pats to be one-dimensional, the Jets should be able to force turnovers, and win the game.
I forget, who was the classy pat that had a wife and kids at home and was screwing the secretary which caused his divorce? Oh, it was the Head Coach. Get over it.
WOW! I can just hear the ESPN gang squealing now: BULLEIIN BOARD MATERIAL, BULETIN BOARD MATERIAL Those guys are so silly that it's comical. Does anybody really think that the Pats weren't going to play hard but now, because of Rex and Cromartie's comments, the Pats are really going to try to win.
Actually I think your being too harsh on Cro. In week 2 we had an unfit Revis and if my shitty memory serves me a bit of info, Cro had an excellent game with 4 tackles and one INT, not too shabby .
While the way he said it was wrong, most NFL players will hate anyone who demands (and gets) preferential treatment from the officials: http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/spo...ting_im_begging_for_preferential_treatme.html New England delenda est.
He did have a good half, in the first half he was being beaten by their TEs, int he 2nd half he did a good job on Moss and was a big reason why we won. That was his best game of the year.
Would someone in NYC buy me a copy of that and send it to me if I Paypal them money for postage and everything? (I'm serious, BTW.) Awesome picture. Timely, accurate headline.
Yeah, but Brady had a giant ego to deal with (Moss) back then. It's no coincidence that Brady's ints are where they are. 3 of the 4 he's thrown this year were forced passes to Moss. The other was a hail mary at the half against the Ravens.
Didn't Bill get caught cheating by the league and cheat on his wife with his secretary. Yeah, real class act.
Cro is just an average to good CB whos been in the league a few years, just like Ryan. Ryan is a second year HC who talks smack in pre-season and writes prophetic messages on buses. I think Cro has earn't the right to open his yap and speak his mind. If Ryan doesn't like it he should lead by example.
I can't help it. I have an image of a sold out New Meadowlands Stadium chanting "ASS-HOLE! ASS-HOLE!" next time Brady takes the field there. How awesome would that be?
Brady has received 1 roughing the passer call this year. Anyone who can read and comprehend this article sees that he was "joking" around.
It wasn't a rip on you. Its cause all the Patsie fans will constantly bring it up as a dig on one of our players. At least I know they watched the Jets on HK cause they know their team will NEVER be on it. The problem is that Cro is the perfect match up against a guy like Moss/TO/Johnson. The Welker/Bess match-ups are weak cause Cro is a lanky guy with a huge wingspan but can't shift on the run well.
Is everyone blind today? It's pretty obvious that Cromartie made these comments to take the pressure off of Rex.
