True. Forgot about the hooded stooge. But in terms of talent, its not even close. If Mark Sanchez plays at a high school starting qb level, the Jets are the better team. If Sanchez actually plays like a pro for 60 minutes (not just 1), the Jets can win this by 3 td's. The only thing that can prevent the Jets from winning this game are Sanchez and Schotty.
Yup, and I never get why the coaches dont have him abuse guys at the line. If I were them, I would have Cro on Branch and have him beating the shit out of that over-rated fuck at the line of scrimmage. Then Revis takes out Welker, and the rest of the team should be able to stop the miracle scrubs known as Hernandez, Gronk, BJGE and Woodhead.
He won't be, I bet he still attacks the bigger weaknesses in our D. Which are safety and linebacker coverage, the middle of the field, which is a Patriots strength. But you can bet he'll burn Cromartie long a la Revis in week 2.
Schotty should call 1 route. The slant to Holmes and Braylon. I dont understand why he doesn't call that route 25 times a game. No corner in the NFL, not named Revis, can stop it. Maybe to change it up, you can throw to Braylon deep once in awhile and Keller over the middle several times.
'Can' and 'wants to' are 2 separate, unrelated conditions in this scenario. he's still a pussy, and will always be a pussy. He probably uses his athleticism and a mental (or lack of mental) excuse not to study film or improve his technique. I would give anything to replace this turd with Asomugha. It won't happen, but a man can dream.
Naaah...we are a little weak there, but Drew Coleman is your guy when the Offense just has to have it.
some of you SOJF will never change do you really think the pats went out of their way to target that steelers safety just cause he talked shit? anthony smith was the worst player in their secondary, so he was exploited. comparing him to a good player like cro is laughable suggs talks shit about the pats and brady all the time and the pats dont go out of their way to attack him (not exactly apples to apples, but you get the point) the pats game plan is to attack your weakest link. thats why they line wilfork over the opposing teams worst o-lineman, and why they remade their team to be able to attack linebackers through the air (the jets weakest link) nothing the jets say this week will change the pats game plan ... it might change bradys in game decisions, but if thats the case then theyre likely getting away from the game plan, which is fine by me
One can only hope. It would be nice however, if we can do something WITH the football to change their gameplan.
He threw long against Cro in week two in the second half when Revis was out. It was a perfect pass, right to Cro for an INT.
I outlined a scenario where we could get Aso. Let's say that because we're gonna lose a 2nd round pick for Cro he immediately gets bolted up to the list of our offseason priorities (assuming that Harris is an automatic lock to return). Problem is the market for CBs has been so inflated with the ridiculous Clements contract from a couple years ago, the ridiculous Aso contract and the Revis contract so Cro gets a big money offer from somewhere else...the same type of big money offer Aso would command. If the Jets decide they wanna pay Cro whatever to keep him because they lost the draft pick they could simply give that money to Aso, who has expressed interest in playing with Revis. It's not a likely scenario because you can't commit that much money to one position, especially CB, when we have deficiencies in the front 7 but like you I can dream.
To Moss. Who did Cromartie cover the 2nd game? Branch? I think a small quick player like Branch will be harder for him to cover.
? What's not classy about that? They did a player they acquired a solid who had financial trouble. Not saying it is classy but I don't think it's 'not classy'.
