Why wouldn't they didn't show up for a nationally televised MNF game for the #1 seed? What do you mean about the Browns and the Jets beating the Patriots? That they didn't go 16-0? The Jets lost to the Ravens, Packers, Bears, and Dolphins while the Patriots beat all of those teams. What's your point?

They actually have a young core of talent that has succeeded despite how raw they are because of Tom Brady. I'm not sure why you'd want to say that the Jets were beaten by 42 points by a bunch of high schoolers. I sure as hell wouldn't. That's the whole fucking point, in case you haven't been paying attention for the past decade. "Who is their running back?" has been the question for 10 damn years. They bring in backs who fit their system. Go back to the day Woodhead was signed. Check the fucking thread and you'll see me saying "He fits the system, and he'll be good for them." I hated that. Making light of the way they utilize both backs makes light of a system that has been successful for a long time and is reloading for a few last runs with Brady. Again, have you been paying attention for the past 4 years? What about THIS season? Hernandez and Gronkowski present matchup problems for a team that loaded up on corner talent to deal with the receiver heavy teams in this league. They're well rounded TEs. Can we handle them? Sure. That doesn't mean we should be idiots about them. Yes. Young players who have played over their heads for half this season, have created turnovers, and could very well be in for a down game. Still, inane comments like "rookies left and right" and dismissing players like Wilfork and Mayo is asinine. You know nothing about football. More talented? Sure. At most positions, I'd say. You can't dismiss the system, though. They match up VERY well with us. You know nothing about professional football. Save the rah rah "ALL WE NEED TO DO IS BELIEEEEEEEVE" bullshit for high school. We can win this game, but it makes me sick to see it reduced down to childish dramatics in such an ignorant fashion.
