They're good but they're beatable. they're not the invincible force people make them out to be. The packers game showed that. It just takes 1 game. 1 subpar effort from Them or 1 amazing game for us. the jets will absolutely show up this weekend. We won't beat ourselves. I guarantee that. The pats fans I know in real life are squacking...they think we have no shot and already are thinking about the ravens. They'll regret it. The jets play their best when no one gives them a chance
They are good but they have some major flaws. If the Jets can expose those flaws the Patriots could fall apart. What if the Patriots are faced with a 10 point deficit? they lose and get worse and worse. We saw that in the first Jets game and the Browns game. If you can build a 10 point lead on them, they crumble under pressure.
I really can't wait for the game to start so we don't have to read threads like this. I'm excited too and still smarting from that beat down on Monday Night, but come on...the Pats aren't that good? That's crazy talk. They're the best team in the league until someone beats them. And yeah, the Jets have every reason in the world to show up and play well. But they did last time too and didn't. Having said that, I think this coaching staff really learned from that and I expect a good game from the Jets where we run the ball well. If Sanchez plays a hell of a lot better than he did on Saturday night, then we have a good shot at winning. But yeah, the Pats are good and it's foolish to say otherwise.
Do I have concerns on Defense? Yes of course, the packages they have will spread us out in our base (2TE RB,WR,WR). The question is can we generate a consistent pass rush with 3 or even 4 or 5? Revis, I’m not worried about and either will Brady (he just wont throw on that side). So now its up to Cro, Wilson, Cole (I like him in this spot, quick and fuck Drew coleman). The question is; did we tip our hat with the Eric Smith LB experiment last week to just win?
