Yes, tripping a gunner who was intentionally breaking the rules in the first place = spygate. Brilliant.
Sure and we'll never know the playcall but it didn't look it was a zone coverage it looked it was man under with safety help. And yeah Pool was to blame on that play too but Cromartie essentially gave him a free release. They both fucked up.
how was he intentionally breaking the rules? He was shoved out of bounds by two Jets players who also were trying to keep him out of bounds.

Ummm...The rule is...to establish yourself back in the field of play immediately. He was running DOWNFIELD, Parallel to the outside of the White Stripe along the Jets bench. No inside motion, is an automatic foul.
Yep, and the Dolphins were penalized earlier in the game for the exact same thing, the gunner running downfield out of bounds.
Isn't the rule that if a gunner gets pushed out of bounds he needs to make a reasonable effort to make it back in bounds? Seemed like he was just sprinting down the sidelines he was running a 40 at the combine
