What is the scoop for Wednesday? I have a job interview around Albany at 2:00, should I be trying to get that rescheduled? My dad just texted me that a major storm is gonna be hitting then.

It seems the closer we get to Tuesday/Wed, the more snow they are predicting, so you may want to be on the safe side and reschedule.

I hope the weather is not a factor for the game on Sunday. If it is, that would tend to benefit the Pats, I would figure.

Dont think Albany will fall into the major category but its close. Here is the forecast for Albany, NY:

Tuesday Night...Mostly cloudy. Snow likely after midnight. Light snow accumulation possible. Lows around 18. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 70 percent.

Wednesday...Snow. Additional moderate snow accumulation. Highs in the upper 20s. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent.

Boston MA....close enough says highs in the low 30's with a chance of snow showers. Might want to keep an eye on that because thats a storm that should be a miss for that area...but its close.

I kind of agree BB. There was a Pats poster that went on and on before last game saying how Brady just loves the cold air. I busted his balls back about it and well...kind of ate crap.

Looked at the models and what the big boys are saying about long term Boston and its not a storm but a very strong cold front that could produce snow showers for that game.

Bottom line is pretty cold and kind of windy.

I keep hearing that we are going to have snow here in the northern NJ NY area, but no snow totals. What's the scoop? Will I get out of work on Wednesday or what?

I have seen more snow fall in the past 24 hrs than I have ever seen in my life. I live just below Charlotte and the NC border. I have to say, if this storm gets incrementaly worse as it heads northeast (as it seems they always do) you guys are in for hell. Now, I gotta hope I can make it home from work in this big truck and not end up in a ditch.

They are talking about 6 to 12 inches in the NY Metro area. It's going to be a "Hard hitting strom that will last for abot 10 hours" according to WINS.

P.S. - Since that last blizzard is now behind us, I think I'll need to rename this thread.

Suggestions welcome. But I have a working title in mind.

Very accurate. The only thing I would add to that is a slight shift of the storm could add or take away 6 inches (the 12 could be 18)...which to some might not be much.

    To Jonnyd....friggin euphoria.
