With the first pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select: Tom Keiser, Defensive End, Stanford.

And in even better news, Mr. Electric's best friend Jamie Harper is going pro too! http://www.block-c.com/2011/01/07/seriously-jamie-harper/
Patrick Peterson declaring for the draft http://www.2theadvocate.com/news/113211399.html As an LSU fan I'm sad:sad:
...terrible. I saw an article before their bowl game saying Harper would leave early if he got a 4th round grade. He just knows he has no place for that team behind Andre Ellington and incoming freshman back Mike Bellamy. I thought he'd at least transfer to a FCS program and pad his stats before the draft. I doubt he'll get drafted.
Martez Wilson LB for Illinois going pro. http://www.profootballweekly.com/2011/01/10/illinois-lb-wilson-leaving-for-nfl Could be a great linebacker in the NFL if he over comes some previous injury problems.
Jacquizz Rodgers going pro... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...s.oregonstate.ap/index.html?eref=twitter_feed Will be interesting to see where he goes he is good player but very small. I think he'd be a good fit for team like Tampa Bay who could use a change of pace back behind Blount.

Mikel Leshoure RB Illinois http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/11/as-expected-rb-leshoure-leaving-illini-for-nfl/ Say hello to the new Patriots RB
Eh, both Williams and Evans are leaving VT. Hopefully Wilson can carry the main workload next season for Tech.
Last year I called Spikes going to New England. This year, I call Ayers & Leshoure. You heard it here first.
I feel a lot better about UM-VT next year with a new coach and better QB on our side, and your side without your QB or either of those two. Wilson's a nice player, but he won't gash us like Williams and Evans did straight up the gut.
