AFC West blog ESPN.com's Bill Williamson writes about all things AFC West in his division blog. • Blog network: NFL Nation Asomugha’s deal included a little-known clause that said his contract would void if he didn’t achieve his not-likely-to-be-earned incentives in 2010 -- and he didn'’t. His contract also contained a stipulation that if he didn’t achieve his incentives, the Raiders would agree not to designate him their franchise or transition player. To achieve his incentives, Asomugha had to play in a greater number of defensive plays in 2010 than he did in 2009, and this season Asomugha played in only 14 games whereas he played in all 16 in 2009. He also could have achieved his incentives by improving upon on his interceptions, fumble recoveries or sacks this season -- but he didn't have any interceptions, fumble recoveries or sacks this season. How about re-signing the guys we need to re-sign before worrying about the huge deal we would we probably have to give this guy. Say....David Harris or keeping Bray and/or Santonio?

How could you afford this along with Revis? Revis is not all of the sudden going to feel generous and take a pay cut to make this happen.
signing harris and one of the recievers long term has to be done first as well as finding pass rushing and safety help
No Nnandi. If we sign him then forget Holmes Edwards and Harris. Cromarties not perfect but hes not going to kill our salary cap either.
We just beat the Colts and people are already talking about the offseason. There is a LONG period between the end of the season and before the draft. We will have plenty of time to discuss this.
No way, we don't have the cap space. Plus we will just get rammed with no lube up the middle without a passrush. We need a safety and a blitzer first and to resign Harris and Braylon/Holmes
They're already giving up a second rounder for him if I'm not mistaken, so I doubt the Jets want to give up a second rounder without resigning cro. So I think he is the guy who's signed first, and the fact that nnamdi is on the market is going to make this offseason much more intersting. I just hope nobody in the AFC east especially the pats make a play for him.
