When Holmes didn't get the first punt that the Colts kicked... How was that perfectly fine that the Colts players tried pushing Holmes into the ball? On top of that it's no problem to challenge that? Then the fans booed at the result of the challenge!? That alone made me hate Indy like I didn't before. Can someone explain to me this? Maybe next time we punt we should just run into the guy if he lets it bounce.hmy::wink:
they pushed him into the ball so he'd touch it its a legal move as its technically blocking holmes shoulda got out of the way and just let em down it
Indy fans are obese retards, so that explains the cheering. I wasn't too sure about the rules in terms of pushing the returner but I guess if the ball is bouncing he's fair game for blocking.
I dont even care about that question. What the hell was Holmes thinking? That could have been devastating.
He's leaving after next season. I have no idea what Holmes was thinking when he did that. I'm looking forward to hearing what Westhoff has to say about it.
hes coming back for next season then hes done. im guessing there gonna turn of the reigns to that assistant of his that they made fun of during the rookie show on hard knocks.
I hope/feel we'll be fine without him but damn he's such a valuable and underappreciated coach for us. Well no need to bitch, we did win afterall
fans of 31 other teams would've cheered in the same situation. all fans look like retards to opponent fans.
They did push him in the back, so I thought that might be a penalty, but the announcers didn't say anything to that effect......
They also cheered during the replay even though it was clear Holmes didn't touch the ball. That's a special kind of stupid.
Well Holmes wasn't in for another punt return all game, so I think that tells us something haha. I'm sure Westhoff had some words for him, that's for sure. Seriously, it was one of the stupidest things he could possibly do, there was NO REASON to be near the ball like that. Between that and the drop on 3rd down, Holmes had a pretty disappointing game.
I am a Colts fan and I was at the game. 9/10 Indy fans have a football IQ that would border on mental retardation. They showed the replay 4 or 5 times at LOS each time showing that the ball clearly never touched Holmes and each time the cheers got louder and louder and I am just wondering why the hell people are cheering. Hell even after the Edwards catch that was reviewed at the end, i thought it was clearly a catch and the fans were cheering. Look I love the Colts but I absolutely hate some of my fellow Colts fans.
