Praise be. Last year Wayne had 3 receptions for 49 yards. Revis has upped his game. Unreal. On top of it all he tackles like a fuckin' linebacker.
Someone anyone please tell me why Revis is always covering a guy that doesn't get a pass thrown their way. You would think Rex would be smarter than that and put Revis on a guy that gets thrown to.......why why?
Even the great Peyton Manning was afraid to challenge him. That may have been Revis's best game ever, he really is amazing.

I have my doubts about Mark. I know if the jets ever want to approach dynasty status and put the Pats to bed Mark will have to become more than a what he is now. Until that happens or until we find someone else I'll settle for Darrelle. Is there any doubt now that Revis is the best? I am so sick of the darrelle doubters and haters. None of them watch him in every game play-by-play like we do. He is a monster. His physical talents. study habits, and absolute dedication to the game are incredible. He has so far exceeded any expectation that I've had for any player in any sport. Hamstring or not, if he keeps it up (which we have no indications that he will not) this man is going to go down as one of the great ones. My grandkids are going to be watching highlights of him. The whole world is eventually going to be convinced and its absolutely undeniable. I wish Mark were better, I think alot of us do, but right now there is a very very special man on our team and his name is Darrelle Revis. Praise him. Thank the good lord. Darrelle I'm hanging my hat up on you and I know you won't let us down!
Very funny story- at some point during the game my girlfriend's mother (who has a crush on Revis) comes in and asks about him. My girlfriend very angrilly says "I haven't heard his fucking name all game." And I said "Babe, that's cause he is shutting down Reggie Wayne and the "great" Peyton Manning isn't even looking in his direction because of fear." She's like "Ohhhhhh" LOL! Revis is the fucking man! (I can't participate in your blasphemy today because I need a favor from God, but I'll check back in here in a few days! LOL)

thats the whole point if revis leaves wayne then manning will throw to wayne and not the guy revis is on the whole point of revis is too take away half the field, maybe im wrong but manning barely touched the left side of the field all night
And Revis was playing deep and the safety had the short coverage on it. Revis did put a hurtful tackle on him, as a 'teachable moment'.
Anyone know where I can find Revis in depth stats, like total targets against him this year, and total yards allowed? Checked football outsiders, but couldn't find anything for this season.
I think you have to pay for their in-depth stats now. I don't know of any other site that does what you are asking.
