Yep, tape of that "amazing" interview with KC's Todd Haley is coming up. How does CBS/WFAN let him get away with playing a staled, canned, boring interview for 20 minutes on their "premier" Sunday football radio show?
Seattle doesn't have to apologize for being in the play-offs! Only the Jets have to apologize for any success they might have
Pretty boring stuff. Had no choice but to roll out the compliments. I'm sure he'll bring the piss and vinegar on monday.
Fatty sounds like he's on lithium. He probably needed to take something to eat all the crow he's eating on air.
"clearly da jenkins injahree was ahhhbeviously a huge injahree, da bush in jahree was ahhhhhhbeviously a huge injahree, I ahhhhhbeviously am very obese, and I ahhhhbeviously love da meatball pahm" back afta dis
This is the "national" part of the show, so, he will probably keep it toned down until the last hour, which is only broadcast in New York. I would love for someone to call in that last hour and tell him that the only time you see the Giants this time of the season is on Prirlosec commercials, while the Jets are still playing. Rex and the Jets have made New York a Jets town. That will push Mike over the edge provoking a rant.
On the National show you have to look for the subtleties Payton left the field after doing his job First highlight was the Garcon TD Wouldn't mention Sanchez by name ("the quarterback")
LMFAO. So at 9:20 after about to chat of Jets/Colts, he then replays the Haley interview while he writes up something to read off of in a way to wiggle out of trouble.
Holy fuckin christ, how does he put this shit up after 2 playoff games? the interview is horrendous...all you hear is wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk wonk
Raissman takes a shot at Francesa and the Giants in today's Daily News: GIANT FREE PASS Got to hand it to Giants boss John Mara. He's got the local football media eating out of his hand. We aren't doubting Mara told Tom (Pucker Up) Coughlin his job was "safe" the week before the Giants regular season finale against Washington. And yeah, Mara in no way was obligated to take Coughlin off the media griddle during the 24/7 speculation over the coach's job status. Nonetheless, Mara left the appearance he was giving himself some wiggle room just in case Washington blew out the Giants last Sunday. The majority of mouths, especially the ones toting big sticks, didn't call him out over that. And even if Mara did tell Coughlin his job was safe, it was strange, very strange, he would allow the media - even those "demanding" Coughlin be fired - to run wild with speculation for over two weeks when he could have stopped it. Cruel, right? Very few pontificators had the temerity to criticize Mara for letting Coughlin dangle in the court of public opinion. That's because they know (or so we have been told) the Giants are a first-class organization. Roll over, Rover.
Can't wait til he has to face callers this week. Hopefully, some shrewd fans will corner him: He said our D wouldn't stop the Colts from scoring. He has continually bashed Shonn Greene for fumbling. If he tries to say that Caldwell made mistakes and "handed da Jets da game on a silvah plattah," then someone HAS TO call in and say Rex outcoached Caldwell, simply for the fact that Rex didn't make errors like Caldwell did. If he tries to say we got lucky that the Colts ran into the Punter, then someone HAS TO call in and tell him the Colts were lucky that Holmes dropped the pass that would've been a 1st Down on the immediately preceding down.
