What's really telling is how fucking smart you think you are. Frankly, I really don't give a rat's ass what you think of me or my opinions as you don't pay my mortagage or suck my dick. Yeah, I meant to type that Holmes was behind the defender so score one for you. In the end, I don't give a good GD either way. Just so we're real clear on this.. I really hope TIBS gets a HC job somewhere as his impeccable handling of the Jet offense warrants consideration of any and all available HC jobs. The best thing that could happen to the Jets would be for TIBS to get that HC job and move on.
If Smith were alotted the same chances that Clemens was, you'd probably have a different opinion. Smith was pigeonholed as anything but a NFL QB. Clemens was afforded every opportunity over several years to take over and be "the man" but Smith wasn't. Obviously the CS didn't see it in either of them but why is it that Smith has been on the field in critical situations where as Clemens is viewed as the absolute last resort. Brunell surprised me in the last regular season game but it was Buffalo that he lit up.
fire this worthless sack of shit. as great as the jets offensive gameplan was in the 2nd half he throws the game away on a fucking bomb with a QB that didn't have a prayer of completing it.
Third and five we are killing them with the run and that MF gives the ball right back to Manning, by throwing the bomb... Fire that MF right after this game !!@!!!!
I'm surprised to see so many people hating on Schotty's call to go for the bomb on 3rd and 5...for what it's worth, the receiver absolutely burned his coverage and if Sanchez can make that throw then the game is over. It's tough for me to blame the Offensive Coordinator when the call works perfectly but the QB botches the throw. I think that overall Schotty called a good game tonight. That 10 minute touchdown drive was absolutely beautiful to behold.
:drunk: O.K. Lets see if I understand this right, Brad Smith pulls a groin injury and cannot run the ball like he should. Our Franchise Quarterback is playing well and isn't making many mistakes so, lets run the "wildcat" multiple times with a player that is hurt and pull a "hot" QB off the field. Please shop his ass to Carolina
Are you all certain that Schotty called for the bomb on 3/5? I heard that Sanchez changed the play and went long. In any event I didn't like the wildcat calls in the 4th. Would have preferred to ground and pound. But alls well that ends well.
The 3rd-down bomb was assinine......even if Sanchez had completed a bunch of them earlier in the game (he hadn't), I wouldn't attempt that play then. That play is OK on 3rd-and-5 in the first 3 quarters, not when you are attempting to put the game away. A 1st down there wins the game (or gives them the ball back with about 60 seconds and needing 60 yards for a FG).
