Keep away.. Thank God TIBS went to ground. Our Defense showed up big time and I have a suspicion that at half time, Rex lit em up as they came out looking like a completely different defense.

 

Seriously, every week I hear "you gotta keep Peyton Manning/Tom Brady/Drew Brees off the field. That's how you beat these guys". Well, we did just that. Ground and pound at it's finest. Great second half adjustment.

 

Good game, guys... I knew it would be close, and I figured our shit secondary would cost us the game. I probably should have put some money on this one. Good luck next week- I hope you break Brady's femur, while putting up 50 points on them.

They had a 7-0 lead at halftime and we know they only kicked field goals (and didn't score on defense) in the second half. Thus, by logic alone, they MUST have had AT LEAST three possessions.

 

actually 3 possessions. they kicked 3 fg. Rex was off , but still 3 possessions is great.

defense obviously came up big too.

i was really pissed at the playcalling in the 1st quarter, we allowed the colts to get 4 possessions in during the first quarter alone. it didn't come back to bite us though, as we only gave up 7 points in the 1st half.

what a win. feel on top of the worldddddddddddd. seeing that ugly manning face after the loss was the icing on a great fucking night.

Yup. If you're going to criticize Schottenheimer for the 3rd and 5 deep pass, then you have to give him credit for the rest of the game. That 10 minute touchdown drive was goddamn beautiful.

 

This is exactly how you beat the Patriots, except you end your own possessions with touchdowns. Sanchez played pretty badly in the first half but well in the second half. We need second half Sanchez next Sunday.
