Again, if that's the case with Collie, then I think it's problematic. I don't consider a team that has an all-time great QB to be Championship caliber if the loss of the #3WR devastates the team.
the constant whining about injuries from colts fans is getting old fast. Enough already w/the excuses.
Basically. He's gonna say on football Sunday "I'm not surprised by da outcome of da game, it went exactly how i thought it would"
I am fucking sick and tired of hearing about injuries. I remember the Chargers beat the Colts when Tomlinson went down in the middle of the game. Rivers got injured to I believe. They still won. Hell last year Greene went down and we didnt use it as an excuse. Just grow a pair, you have Peyton Manning, homefield advantage, 4 game win streak. Whatever create your cushion Colts. I wonder who Manning will throw under the bus this time?
He didn't make his pick but he's heavily leaning on the Jets, but I think he is building up the Jets so that if they lose he will make it 10x worse. I think deep down he feels the Jets will win. But I think he's going to pick the Colts.
What in the flyin fat jehozafat are you talking about? Yes, we used both the Greene and Strickland injuries as an excuse, at least the fans did, and not incorrectly. Manning throwing poeple under the bus? When? 17 players on IR and a boatload of other injuries isn't an excuse? Are you shittin me?
When the Chargers knocked them out of the playoffs a few years ago this was his quote.... "I'm trying to be a good teammate here … let's just say we had some problems with protection." I'm guessing it was his OL that he just shit all over.
And if his prediction is ever wrong then the team that lost 'shoulda won' but there always has to be an excuse as to why they didn't. if tank is gonna harp on bob sanders, melvin bullit, and jerrad powwwiz then i can easily say kris jenkins and jim leonhard. sanders and jenkins. but with da jets it's 'everyone has injures, and dah gets ahh lucky dey duh least injid team in da NFL'.
Why does junc have to turn every thread into a Brady vs. Manning debate this week? They're both great junc. Why you need to put down Manning all the time is beyond me. OK, we get it, he only has one championship.
I didn't turn anything, others turned it. They are both great, one is just much greater despitte the perceptions of the average fans. It's not just that he only has one championship, it's that his play in bog games has hurt his team from winning more than one championship.
I pulled a bunch of the posts re: manning vs. brady in this thread and made a sticky in the NFL section. Feel free to continue there.
