    I saw it at some top floor party I was at in Newark the other day when they first lit it up. Incredible even from such a distance.

    haha i just checked that website.. apparently it's not green for the Jets.

    It says this for January 6th: Empire State Building Becomes Largest New York City Commercial User of 100% Clean Energy

    This was a tweet by Wayne Hunter giving truth to the color of the Empire State. And I can confirm by looking out of my window at work that it is a wonderful shade of Jets green.

    Just got back from the playoff rally. Didn't notice the ESB til we got downtown but still got a far away shot w/my phone...

    It looked epic when we drove by on the FDR...

    OK I guess last week was a false alarm, but I saw on twitter that Jim Leonhard is lighting it up at 2PM today for the Jets.
