ok i'm listening i fold. i don't think he's being half as bad as alot of you guys say. Also i think alot of the fans calling in are stupid. i mean woodhead an all-star? please he's had a good season but he's a situational player, not an all star
funny yall should mention the doug brien game...i have never so distraught after any sporting event ever. i must've cried for a half hour after that game
I actually turned this show on during my nightmare commute home last night. I could not listen to long. One of the worst shows I have heard in some time. The callers were horrendous and just seemed so over the top that it bordered on planted calls. What is with Giants fans continuing to call in on the radio and bitch about the Jets? Move on already and worry about how the Giants are going to fix their turnover problem. Hell, Eli threw more INTs then Sanchez did last year. I listened to three Giants fans, one idiot who called and said "all the Jets do is run slants" (no, clue, absolutely none about how regular Jets fans have been bitching about the LACK OF SLANT ROUTES this year) just amazing garbage. Another Giants fan sounded like he wanted to blow Manning, as Francessa kept breathing heavy into the mike. Another random caller who said the Jets will intercept Manning three times. Just total random stuff with no rhyme or reason. The show was a trainwreck and I moved on after that one segment of calls.
Maybe today when Fats is bagging on the Jets and what bad people they all are I'll call in, I know I can get through, and ask him is opinion on the Adian Brinkley story... I'm sure he knows nothing about it...
At lease the third Jets caller sounded reasonable:
I'm sure he'll talk about Tom Coughlin's "kiss my ass" rant in the locker room. Because, after all, the everything da Noo Yawk Joints do is classy.
If someone gets through to Chubby today, ask him how he feels about this quote from Ryan, from yesterday, and ask why he didn't play THIS sound bit, as he was passive aggressively baiting Jets fans yesterday with his "genial host" schitck. "Three and a half minutes later, the Colts had the lead, and wouldn’t be giving it back, and the Jets never progressed deeper than the Indy 47-yard-line the rest of the day. Regrets? “I have none,” Greene said. “I’m looking forward, not back.” Regrets? “I’m not gonna say that, tell you that lie,” Rex Ryan said, asked if he thought having Greene the whole 60 minutes would have changed the outcome. “They beat us.”"
I'm sure he can if he can convince them to appear, but when he announced all of his guests for the upcoming week on Monday, he didn't mention any Colt players coming on his show.
Does Brandon Tierney still have a show? I put it on for the first time in awhile and Robin Lungberg and someone else had a show. I thought it was pretty bad...and I prefer 1050. At least I used to.
