I would have loved to gone to the Chi game, I was planning on it for the '02 game then realized we'd be playing at Champaigne while they refurbished Soldier Field. Since my wife and I started having kids I haven't been to a road game. Hopefully I'll be going again in the next couple of years.
I was out there for the 2002 game but my friends live in Chicago and we decided not to drive three hours and sit in the rain, so we hung out in Chicago. This was my first road game since Buffalo in 1998, which we also entered with a 10-4 record.
I think we have talked about this before but I was also at that Buf '98 game. That was a great game and a great week as 6 days earlier I was down in Miami for the Sun Night game.
Yeah, I knew we were both at that one. My only other road game was also that year, MNF at Foxboro, Vinny's first start as the first stringer.
Apparently you have never been to Lucas Oil Stadium, usually not very loud, nothing like the RCA Dome. The old Dome use to rock but LOS, a much nicer stadium and a huge upgrade, doesn't have near the atmosphere that the cozy dome had.
I am 1-6 in road games. I think I'll stop going. Philly '03 - L Buffalo '04 - L Pitt playoffs '05 - L Miami '05 - L Dallas TG '07 - L Denver '10 - W Chicago '10 - L
What do you expect from fans of a soft Dome team whose Lilly White Uniforms never get dirty? If the little horses were still BAL the place would be packed.
LOL one of the reasons they left Baltimore was because the stadium was half empty. One year back in the 50s the Colts got temporarily kicked out of football because of lack of fan support and needed a last minute "ticket drive" to get them back in.
That was bad. You're the father of corn, popcorn. lololololololololol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
they are saying snow for new york starting thursday night and 3-6 by mid day friday. not gonna stop till saturday night.
