Lets get this party started!!! The Jets last trip in Indianapolis resulted in losing an 11 point lead and missing out on the Super Bowl with a 30-17 loss. Since then: The Jets have added Santonio Holmes, Antonio Cromartie, LaDanian Tomlinson and Jason Taylor. More importantly, added experience to it's young players. The Jets are poised to come into Indianapolis and defeat a team who just beat the Raiders by only 5 and almost lost to a Titans team who quit a month ago. The Colts are also without Dallas Clark and Austin Collie. Could be a big deal. My opinion: Take care of Manning, ground and pound, take a few chances, The Jets win this game!!!! Jets-34 Colts-20 Final What are your predictions?
I see no way in the world we stop them, so I'm predicting the only way I see us winning ... JETS 34 INDY 31
It is very possible. The Colts haven't even looked that good the last month, but they are still scoring. Even during that 3 game losing streak they scored 28 vs. New England and 35 vs. Dallas. So they will likely be able to score. The Jets can fight back with their own fire power though.
Best case scenario - we are that team that slumps late in the season and everybody overlooks entering the playoffs. Worst case scenario. Our Defense really is as bad as it looked against Chicago and NE and our Offense lays another egg. Realistic scenario - we are just good enough to beat a banged up Indy team in their own building. 27-23 Jets
The one thing Indy has been doing well lately is stopping high powered running attacks. The Jets HAVE to dominate the clock to win this game, and that means running the ball. Greene and LT need to have a big game.
Good lord you are one depressing "Jet fan". Just browsing your posts if you never have anything positive to say about them. Why bother claiming to be a Jet fan? They obviously make you miserable and you Jet fans miserable.
There's this perception out there that the Jets can't win a shootout. I'm not buying it. For all the criticism our offense has taken this year, we've put up 30 points 5 times. We can score on this defense. I'd like to see us attack and go in with the mindset that 30 points is the minimum needed to win this game. If we have any delusions that we can win a low scoring game, I think that's a recipe for an early exit. The Colts score plenty of points. They always have. I don't know why anyone would think Saturday will be any different.
I don't have a feel for this game. The Jets are an extremely unpredictable team. The only constant: Jets special teams plays well.
my prediction- Jets win the toss for OT, and shatter the Colts on the first drive with Brad Smith uncorking a beautiful pass to Tone Time out of the wildcat for a touchdown thus ending the game with no possession chance for Indy since it's a td and not a field goal. I am the all wise and ever knowing " Nostra-Thomas". jets-30 colts-24
