I can only speak for myself...I never shut up and I stay until there's no hope at all. My head and throat are usually waning by the 4th quarter. Which....sometimes makes the walk back to the car brutal, because it's a handful of Jets fans and mostly fans of the opposing teams.

The majority of the fans aren't like that and never were in the old building. There have been some games where it has been consistently loud but for the most part our crowd has always waited until something good happened to get loud.

What does tailgating have to do with being a real fan? I go crazy cheering during game but since I am usually on train I get there 15 minutes to kick off and leave the moment it ends. Also with stubhub, ticket exchange and ebay hard to now control who gets your tickets when you can't attend. I sold my Vikings tickets to some guy in NJ and turns out he was a Viking fan with a wedge of cheese on his head.

Also schedule this year was a nightmare. Pats and Texans were only two Sunday Afternoon games where we had good weather. Thanksgiving, Holloween, New Years Weekend, Monday Night games, Thursday Night games, weeks with two games in one week and lots of rainy games this year. Lot different than last year when we had lots of one pm Sunday games. I sold 4 regular season games and all four times they were for one of the reasons above.

If you don't tail gate before game and all your tickets are in your name alone you are much more likely to skip a game and much easier to sell. Must people in my section one person controls the season tickets and invites people to attend. So like me if I can't go no one is going as tickets are sold on-line. Gone are the days where 10 buddies have season tickets together and if one or two buddies can't make it friends fill in. Also gone are days where entire families have season tickets, they are too expensive for that. Also with PSLs people are pressured to sell some big games to cover PSL fee. Of course like me they say hey I can sit in a cheap UD seat and still go, however, once you sell your seats I somehow never go

I arrived at the Bills game during halftime and should of picked up a rally towel when I walked in. I guess I felt that they would have more when the game was over and to my surprise they didn't! I am curious to see how fans will be for next years home games especially for those that are in bold. I just hope Jets STH's don't sell their Jets vs Giants tickets which we all know will go to Giants fans.

    2011-2012 Home Games!
    Buffalo Bills
    Miami Dolphins
    New England Patriots
    Kansas City Chiefs
    San Diego Chargers
    Jacksonville Jaguars
    Dallas Cowboys
    New York Giants

I'm sorry that you still don't have any friends ROJF.

If you weren't such a dick, you may have been invited to a tailgate or two.

You forgot to mention that we split the cost with another team. This place should be twice as nice as other stadiums, or at least twice as nice as the old one.

EPIC! It was unbelievable. As a guy in the sales biz, all I could think of was that someone ain't getting their commission on that job. What a disaster - and they made announcements asking everyone to stay for that too. LOL The guns were supposed to launch the confetti high in the air, but barely managed to "puke it" out on the ground. In the Pepsi corner at least, the guys grabbed handfuls and launched it manually. It was quite ridiculous and embarrassing.

We wanted our stupid towels too, but of course anyone that stayed for the "celebration shit-show" was SOL by the time they exited. especially those in the upper concourse since it takes a long time to find your way out of there.

hahaha, I received an email from NYJ today, they will give you a free towel if you buy some gear.

These towels suck.. I have 2.

I read people complaining about not receiving the towels on here because they ran out.

Now they're giving them away with a purchase.

    Seriously?

The 'Win and we're in" towels last year were much better.

In fact, I can only think of one major improvement this year over last, and that is the credit card payment option for the playoff invoice, and not being billed anything until they needed to. What a refreshing change.

A minor improvement for me was the beer selection in the 3rd tier. That's about it.

+1 on both.. I was down in 104 and the guns sucked. It was more smoke than anything..

And me and my father waited by our seats to see the team go around the stadium then went to the flagship store, which obviously meant we didn't leave right away and were like "wtf" where the fuck the towels at. They put a bunch of dumbfucks incharge of these things..

Lol at all of you crying about not getting these shitty little towels.

You're right though Wah, after driving 3060 miles and spending over $3000 on the season, I did leave early.

I left in the beginning of Q3 and as I look at these retarded towels instead of laughing at them, I'm laughing at you and all the other homebodies that are pissed they didn't get a shitty ass towel at their one game this year.

Keep talking about us season ticket holders.

    You know nothing about us.

Obviously since we didn't get them, we didn't know just how shitty they were. I feel better now ; )

The acoustics in the stadium differ where you sit. I've been in the uppers for most of the games and it never seems loud up there. I sat in sec. 124 for the Green Bay game, and even though we sucked ass for that one, you could tell how much louder and more into it the fans are.

As for the towels - 85,000 seats = 85,000 towels. Is it that hard?

Yeah Loge, they're very thin, the Jets logo is slightly faded and rather small.

I told Royal Tee I'd give him one of the two because he was also upset about not receiving a towel but they're really lame.

I already used the other one changing the oil in my truck.

This is a perfect example of who the new stadium is catering to , the rich people ; who cares about the regular slobs who have been going to Jet games over 20 years with no real success shown by the team ; OH THE PAIN !!!!!!
