Tandon Doss, WR, Indiana One of the Big Ten's better wideouts. Good size, not a burner, but solid hands. http://iuhoosiers.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/010311aae.html
That guy's a badass. ...he's fearless going over the middle field. I'd love the Jets to get him in the middle rounds. I have a feeling he'll go a lot higher than that though.
I agree, Aldon Smith declaring definitely increases our chance of drafting a quality Aldon Smith! In all seriousness, I really hope the fo does a great deal of scouting on him. Smith is certainly an intriguing prospect. His size puts him right in range for Rex's system. Indianapolis delenda est.
Uh oh, with Doss and this man, the WR class is getting even more cluttered. http://www.midlandsconnect.com/sports/story.aspx?id=561874 South Carolina WR Tori Gurley is turning pro after his RS Soph year (before anyone asks, he's 23).
^ Gurley's family is supposedly having major financial issues. He's a good player with great size...just overshadowed by Alshon. This looks like it's going to be a pretty good year to let go of Edwards. A few of these guys are bound to slide into the middle rounds.
The more the season goes on, the more I'm happy to have Edwards on the team... but the more I think about our team / next year's draft the more it makes sense to part ways with him.
AKEEM AYERS has declared!!! No Surprise!! http://www.google.com/url?url=http:...+ayers&usg=AFQjCNEzjI8BHezqusSgWenyqLhcOY39rw Notice: Remember, an updated list is located in Post #1.
Aaron Williams, CB, Texas http://www.google.com/url?url=http:...lliams&usg=AFQjCNFEod8qYuU7io00r4-0d0FfqDVqsg
DeAndre Brown, WR, S. Miss http://www.latimes.com/sports/nationworld/wire/sns-ap-fbc-southern-miss-brown,0,7422230.story
Brandon Harris declares!! I remember not too long ago Harris said "I'm 85% certain" he was staying. IMO, a bordeline late 1st to early 2nd round pick. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...p_2MDg&usg=AFQjCNGuT6oQfX4Txdvk-kkB1CnjwOxs0w
Zane Parr, DE, Virginia Meh, should have stayed!!! http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...9tj5DQ&usg=AFQjCNHEsy70-egI5Um9ErOhm3RMyMmrvg
I only saw a couple of games, I wasn't impressed. IMO, he's at best a 4th rounder....should have stayed.
I think that's about where he'd go regardless. He's got good size and the frame to add a lot of weight.
I saw the Maryland game and he was invisible. His best game was against Duke, so I take it with a grain of salt. He could have improved his draft status for 2012 with a good 2011 season. I think if he bulks up more, he'd be a good 3-4 end.
I don't think he's that impressive either. He was pretty good though. This just looks like a case of a kid trying to get into the league. I doubt he thinks he'll go that high. He's a mediocre-at-best athlete with good size. Prospects like that go in the middle rounds. His ceiling as a prospect will never be high, so he may as well jump into the pool sooner than later.
You've got Aaron Williams and DeAndre Brown on the list twice Dub Dub. You added them after I posted them on page one.
