The OT revision I've always supported was the one the NFL inputted this year. I've said for years it's the best system, and I think the NFL got it right. But what that guy was saying...sometimes you just keep your ideas to yourself.

Bingo, this is the problem for him. If he talks about anything else he comes off as painfully boring. No one wants to hear about the Yankees or Mets this time of the year. The current Giants team is just painfully boring even with the nonsense of Jacobs and Coughlin ripping into his punter in the middle of the field. They are a boring organization. His Couhglin and Tuck interviews are like listening to paint dry. If not for his anti-Jets platform no one would listen to him at all.
I had Kay and LaGreca on in the car, they weren't much better. "What if they lose? The season will a total failure!!! blah blah blah"
I prefer them because I think LaGreca is good. However, Kay always goes overboard with everything, it drives me nuts.
They should put Brandon Tierney, Jodi Mac, and Don LaGreca together in Kay's time slot. Kay's a hack.
I have never took Lagreca seriously as a talk show host since the time he was SCREAMING that that the Mets simply HAVE to sign Barry Bonds. He's good during Pre/Post game and hockey play-by-play though.
yeah 1050 was tough also -- Kay asking rex yesterday do you believe in your heart of heart with every breath you take that the Jets will win the Super Bowl?? Rex: Yes I believe that. Back live and Kay is livid -- how can he say that?!? What they hell do you want him to say there? I believe we are a good team and will take one game at a time....you didn't ask him how he is approaching the playoffs you asked if he feels they can win the super bowl and he answered honestly. I think people know Rex talks so the media just reads into everything he says and turns it any which way to get callers annoyed.
LOL, the best was LaGreca talking about how he's going to be dead before the Mets win the world series again. He was going nuts for like 30 minutes. I know LaGreca is a big hockey guy, although he's a Devils fan, he tends to not be all too biased. However, we know how NY Radio is, hockey gets very little coverage. LaGreca is also a Giants fan, but he never really shows any bias against he Jets. He's quite knowledgeable about every sport, although I think I've heard him say he's not too much into basketball, he still seems to know enough about it.
Yeah they always pull that shit cause they need to get a rise out of their listeners too. That's how you get ratings. Fortunately I can digest LaGreca more than the Gill Breather. I actually used to hate Kay when he took over for Wally and the Keeg in the afternoons. I mostly despised him cause he was the Yankees. But I've heard him call it like he sees it enough times to know he's not going to make the Yankees smell all roses when they are fucking up. He's pretty much down the middle. LaGreca gets obnoxious cause he has to be the antithesis of Kay's reasonable points. The converse is true as well. But I do enjoy Don's tirades on the Mets. Makes me feel like I have a friend in the control both that feels the same way about that shitty team. YES! Mac, Tierney, & LaGreca. Good combo. I used to always listen to Warner Wolf and Jodi on Saturday mornings. I miss that.
Whenever I hear Wischusan's voice, I get pumped. If I could get HD quality sound on the radio in sync with the TV, I'd listen to Wischusan every game.
