Im sure some if not most of you realize what the Jets have to overcome in order to get to Dallas this year.@Indy@New England and @either Baltimore or Pittsburg.Asides from probably being the tuffest post season schedule ever,if they happen to run the table from here on out it would most likely be considered the greatest playoff run ever dont ya think? The Giants in 07 would be among the top runs as well.

Giants in 07 would beat it out simply because they still had to beat the top two teams in their conference and then beat an 18-0 team.

However, let's get there first :).

The giants run didn't come close

first game was against a 9-7 bucs team who somehow won their division as the other 3 teams won 7,7, and 4 games. it was the equivalent of playing the seahawks this year. and easy gift game

then they played a dallas team who hasn't won a playoff game all decade and romo choked as usual at the end of the game.

then they played GB behind a favre that packers fans were hoping he would just retire. game went to OT and packers own the toss. and favre got picked as usual and giants won on a FG

in the jets scenario they will got against 3 SB winning QBs with a combined 6 rings including the 2 most winning-est teams of the decade

now mind you i'm not taking anything away form the giants. you can only play who is in front of you and they made the plays to win it all. but there run is nothing close to what the jets have ahead

The Giants first game tho was against the crappy Bucaneers. Beating Peyton, Brady, Roethlisberger is a much harder road.

    Will it happen?

Favre was having a dream season (one he should have retired after). Packers were 13-3, everyone thought they were the NFC's team of destiny. In a game in Lambeau in January, below 32 degrees. In the past, Brett Favre would not lose those kinds of games. Actually I think that until that game Favre had lost less than 5 games where the temperature was under 32 degrees.

Cowboys were also 13-3. It was also Romo's second season. The Cowboys weren't known chokers at that point.

Its always tuffest beating a team twice in the same season especially teams with Superbowl winning QB's.It can be done though!

We beat NE before Brady entered God Mode and PIT was playing without Polamalu.

This post-season is going to be hard as fuck in all facets.

Far be it from me to point out the obvious but don't the Jets have to beat the Colts first? Who gives a fucking rats ass about hypotheticals...........

The Jets can conversely have the easiest schedule ever...........

Game #1- Friday Peyton can hold a double stuff league eating contest and gets constipated and can't play. The Jets play a Peyton less Colts

Game#2- Brady while walking in his uggs falls on his head and knocks himself out. He can't play and a easy win for the Jets.

Game #3- Rapelessberger gets caught with a fifth of Jack and a bag of roofies at the Pittsburgh school for girls. He gets 15-20 and he can't play.

    Jets get 3 easy games..............

Super Bowl XLV: The Unbelievable 7-9 Seahawks make it all the way and the entire team is healthy.

The Wild Card 1980 Raiders had a pretty amazing playoff run w/ memorable games against earl campbell's oilers, beating the browns on a game saving int in the end zone in the coldest game since the ice bowl, beating the dan fouts chargers and then shocking the NFL world by beating Jaws and the eagles. i'm pretty sure they were the first WC team to successfully run the gauntlet.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This

Look, I loathe the Giants. I hate them almost as much as the Pats. However, that run, followed by a win over an 18-0 team was amazing. I can't stand them, but they deserve a TON of respect for that.

Also.........can we please get past the Colts (which isn't a given) before we start planning our all-time run to the Lombardi trophy????:lol:

I'm too nervous to focus on anything but this upcoming game.
