htt://http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5984501 Personally these guys don't need any added motavation. Especially calling them out by name. He needs to think before he speaks.
If you haven't figured it out by now, this is who Rex Ryan is. Get used to it because he's not changing who he is to make people who need political correctness in there lives happy.
Ehhh, whatever. Rex admits he's gotten his ass beat by them over and over again. He's pissed and wants a win. Any competitor would feel the same.
i'd rather have him talk and watch the jets keep going in the right direction as a team, which they clearly have already done. he is always gonna talk, like it or not.
He didn't guarantee a win. He just said he wants to win and is tired of losing to the same group of guys on the Colts time after time. Where is the problem again? Now which Pussy Jet Fan is going to see this is brash talk and cower in a fucking corner? Dude is just being honest about how he feels about the Colts.
I don't see anything wrong with what he said. "I don't know when I'm going to beat him, but I want it to be Saturday night" ... absolutely nothing wrong with that he's acknowledging that these guys (the Colts; Manning, Freeney, & Mathis particularly), have beaten him consistently and it's personal to him and he wants to win.
this is who rex is and its never gonna change...should he shut up? probably. but it's the nature of the beast
"I That is what bothers me. It doesn't need to be said. If I was one of those guys, I'd wouldn't be too happy with him calling me out and saying it's personal.
I don't get it. What's so bad about this? And would anyone expect him to say the opposite?? He basically said the Core Colts players have whooped his butt over the years and wants this time to be the opposite. Im really baffled why the media gets on the Jets so much. It's time for a culture change in the jets organization & its been happily developing in front our eyes the last (2) years. We haven't won a super bowl in decades so now were knocking in the door of being an elite franchise around the league. I really hope we shut everyone up this year. Winning cures all of this....& then watch how many jets jerseys ppl will be sporting next year...just like how everyone was supposedly a "Saints" fan last year. Just WIN baby lol
Here's what they'll say: "Rex wants to beat us? I bet he does, because he hasn't yet except when we all sat last year in the second half. So I guess he's never beaten us in that case. Good for him" Stop being scared.
Rex's act can get pretty corny sometimes. Most times, actually. To Herm Edwards proportions. But it's forgivable when his team defies the odds and wins. If they get their asses kicked on Saturday, it's not forgivable.
Rex just says out loud what everyone else is thinking. Kudos for him for having the balls to say it. Negative post from The Sanchise in 3...2...
wow - that is bulletin board material there! He wants to win, tired of Manning kicking his ass, would like his win to come this weekend. Guy just doesn't learn I tell you.
Speak softly and carry a big stick. In other words, Rex STFU and focus on beating them on the field. The whole world knows that your goal is to win the Super Bowl. Don't need to say it every press conference. Don't tell me...show me!!! Joe Beningo had a great point today. If the Jets bow out early in the playoffs this year and Rex comes back next year talking the same BS, isn't his act going to start wearing a little thin even among Jet fans??
