Why do you ignore my question? Do you think he played well against Pittsburgh? if you don't know your stuff it can seem that way. i don't get fooled my perceptions from other fans and the media. This was the first game all year i didn't see him getting beathmy::grin:
lol no we have played this game far too often. On finheaven many times I have proven you wrong only to have you switch up your argument. You are like my senile grandparent
We brought in Cromartie for this weekends game. Cromartie has done very well against Peyton. Revis should do well against Wayne and Cromartie will be on Garcon - which I think he would do well with.
Cro is in the Kevin Smith mold of CB's. What i mean by that is he's better suited as a # 2 corner...but is better than half the #1's league wide. He's an incredible athlete who plays big in big games..but he can be humbled against elite recievers. You put him against good not great #2 WR's...and you can pretty much rest assured he's holdin them to 2-4 receptions and under 60 yards.
You are the one ignoring the question. We are not comparing .300 hitters here, stats tell part of the story. I ask again, dod you think that he had a good game against Pitt? the #s say he did, I want you to tell me if you think he had a good game. This should clear up any misconceptions in this argument.
I played the Colts last night on Madden, used 7 DB's since their run game sucked. Team had 5 total picks Cromartie with 2, so I think it's safe to say that Cromartie is NOT overrated. (This was on All-Madden difficulty too, no joke)
who was cromartie covering when he picked manning 3 times? also how do you guys feel about cromartie covering garcon?
What doesn't make sense about our corner play opposite revis being much better in 2009? It's not even close.
I'm still waiting for you to answer that question but I know why you aren't b/c it invalidates any of those #s that you posted. We know he got lit up against wallace and Pitt but the #s show that he was good. Sometimes #s lie, anyone watching Cro this year knows he has not been very good.
I will agree Strickland was better than any of our nickels now, but I can't say Sheppard was anywhere near as good as Cromartie.
I've watched every game junc, just like you. I've seen Cro in very tight coverage a good portion of the time. Sure he gets beat like most corners do. I am not going to answer your questions because you refuse to acknowledge facts. You say one thing, then when it's proven wrong you change your argument and try to spin things. Your whole "I'd be happy with 60 yards and a TD/game" nonsense was blown out of the water, now you're trying to isolate some specific times he was beat to try and argue he's worse than who we had last year. It's nonsense and I won't take part in your spin cycle. There's no question Cromartie provides better individual man coverage than either Sheppard or Lowery did last year. It's easy to see for anyone that understands the game.
Strickland was very good, he just couldn't stay on the field. I think Cro is much more talented than Lito but I think Lito was better in '09 than Cro '10. Hopefully Cro has a big postseason.
I know why you won't answer the question- b/c it invalidates your "facts". Nothing has been proven wrong, you posted some #s that look good but watching him play it's easy to see he is getting beat consistently every single week. Cromartie is better than Lito but Cro '10 is worse than Lito '09. Lito is not going to make as many big plays or highlight reel plays but he was a better, more consistent corner in 2009 than cro in 2010.
