We know what to expect from our pass rush (or lack of), we know what to expect from our run defense, we know what Revis and Cromartie are gonna do on Wayne/Garcon and our safeties on Tamme (who thank god has been cold lately) Based on what weve seen from our defense this year you could prob guess that Revis on Wayne and hell be held to 50 yards or less, Cromartie on Garcon who will end up with a good 90-110 yards, Tamme who I cant see getting over 70-80 yards tops on our safeties (no our safeties arent that great, but Tamme is pretty mediocre lately ) But who matches up well on Blair White ? It really seems like the wildcard to me. I mean the above #s comes out to under 250 yards passing for Peyton which likely lines us up for a win. But White potentially could be the only real matchup problem for us. The guy doesnt have great speed, but he makes plays and has pretty decent numbers in the games that hes active. Which of our corners match up best on him ? Cole ? Coleman? Wilson ? Or do we rotate Revis/Cromartie around as to try to throw Peyton off ? Im curious what others think about this guy being the biggest unknown this saturday
He's not as good as Collie, who we all remember burned Coleman for that long pass in the AFCCG last year. This was intended to be Kyle Wilson's job but Coleman will probably get the assignment. Hopefully Coleman can handle him.
you mean the white slot receiver? yeah, he could be. any white slot receiver for manning or brady is the same. anthony gonzalez, austin collie, wes welker, edelmen, woodhead, they're all the same for these QB's
Slot WR and TE are the two weaknesses for the Jets defense. If they are covered well, then the Colts will struggle to score.
He's been a big pickup for the Colts. Was at MSU last year and originally walked on their to play football.
jacob tame is. blair white isn't as good as collie. also, their offensive line is worse than last year. peyton manning has never gotten hit so much in his career. this colts team isn't as scary as last years. not even close
White is serviceable but he is not even close to collie...tamme has been solid but once again it not even close to Clark. Good hands but not the same weapon. The Colts still struggle to run, allow over 4 yards per carry, and are banged up in the secondary. The Jets need to mix up the offense, run, play action, take some chances. Last year they hit Edwards on the big bomb and never took a shot downfield again. BS better gameplan some diverse offensive attack.
Coleman played like hot garbage yesterday. Gailey: Hey, Brohm...Find 30...who ever he covers, throw to that guy.
