Colts are a one dimensional team, no reason we cant win this. Sanchez played great in the Afc title game last year, no he has Holmes to throw too. Unless our d totally lays an egg, which could happen, we should win
We need a balanced attack. We will be able to get rushing yards in spurts, but the colts will be able to make it 3rd and long if we rely on the run. You beat a fast aggressive defense with quick passes and trick plays. Greene should be used for the majority of run plays. Schotty needs to give tight end help to hunter, who will have his hands full. If Sanchez is accurate, we can win this game. If he is off and getting pressured into fumbles and interceptions, we r done. We will need to score 28 points at least.
Well, revenge or not, how shitty their record is or not, we are still playing PEYTON MANNING.. They seem to have gotten their run game back.. Start prayin now.
Gotcha. I'm pumped because I truly think this Colts team is beatable, as long as we contain Peyton and our offense scores early. The Colts can't stop the run, and so if we run enough, the pass will eventually open.
Right on Mr. E. Manning had 4 people with catches today. Wayne, Garcon, Tamme, and White. Wayne should be kept in check by Revis (better be man to man the entire game). Garcon should also be held in check by Cromartie. That's a big chunk of Indy's O. Tamme might have a nice game, but I wouldn't bet a 100 yard game from him. Indy doesn't have a reliable run O, while we can shut them down on the ground. This is not the same matchup as last year. Should be a tough game, but I like our chances.
Well this was the game Antonio Cromartie was pretty much brought in for..... He has Peyton's number....HAS to continue.
Jets play at 7pm ct. I want Manning out by 8pm! http://blogs.nfl.com/2011/01/02/wild-card-and-divisional-playoff-schedule/?module=breaking_news
If we want to win, we have to control the clock. And put pressure on manning if we can do that we should win. Assuming we don't have another packer like game.
I'll admit, I was on board for a matchup against the Chiefs. But thinking about this game, this rematch. I do like our chances. Hopefully the guys from last year still have a bad taste in their mouths from the AFCCG. Colts are banged up and they aren't last years team. We need to score early and often.
I think the Jets have a good chance, certainly better than last year. Conservative ground game should open up the passing lanes. A big completion or two to Edwards and the run game will be pulling out 10 to 20 yard chunks. If Greene stayed healthy last year the Jets would have had a better chance. The offense is better, the defense is weaker, but the better corners elminates Peyton's abilities and the Colts bread and butter.
