so to get back to the title game we will have to beat the colts and patriots both on the road one can hope cant they
This is definitely not a predictable league & Kansas City wasn't an automatic win. How long have you been watching football man?
The Colts are a significantly worse team than last year, if we run the crap out've them and don't try to do too much with Sanchez, I think we should be okay. Worried about not being able to rush the passer though, and about Hunter vs. Freeney or Mathis. Those short dump-offs/slants do always kill us, but I'm confident that if Rex just leaves Revis on Wayne (like he didn't do last year), Cromartie is fast enough to hang with Garcon and then we'll just have to contain Tamme.
Need to get pressure on Manning all fuckin day. Thats the key to the jets winning. There is nothing else to even discuss. It all comes down to that.
If the jets can get past seyton and the colts, Zeke will be impressed. And troubled. Zeke would just as soon not face the Jets a third time...............
what would have made my posts less shitty? If I lied and said we were going to move on past next week? Would that make me a better poster? The Colts winning today more less sealed how things are going to go for us.
so give up then dude. are you placing an early wager on the Jets losing to show us your infinite football wisdom? no one cares. the Jets will be fired up and have a decent chance to win this game.
Peyton has been sloppy but they really arent that much different from last year. Tamme has been as dangerous as Dallas Clark, and White has come on in place of Collie. That's the only "weak" point, Collie>White but White has been effective. Everything else is the same on offense. We can still beat them because we are much more talented than last year. We just have to put 4QTRs together.
You're not saying we will have a tough time, you're practically saying we will lose at Indy. Why bother playing?
This game comes down to two things: Our offense shows up and puts consistent points on the board (at least 24). We rattle Manning and defend the middle of the field better than we have.
Everyone can say that we were going to roll KC easily, however nothing is a certain in this league. I actually like going into the Dome and playing IND. No cold weather for LT, no cold weather for sanchez shoulder... I think this is a better matchup than some think. Either way the playoffs are never a cake walk.
They barely beat a team that's lost eight of its last nine games. Indianapolis is a very beatable team.
It's the playoffs. Of course you play it. But its not exactly coin flip odds either. Yes, anything can happen these are not machines we're talking about. But Peyton Manning is damn close--you all know what I mean if you watch a lot of football. I'm just bummed. We would have beat the shit out of the chiefs. This is a bad matchup. Not all is lost. At least now Rex will have more time to watch pretty feet take a big one in all 3 holes.
One fun stat: at 50.9% the Jets defense gives up the lowest percentage of receptions in the league. All the Colts can do is rely on Manning to keep them in games. Their running and passing defense is shit, they are also in the basement, statistically, in rushing offense. If the Jets run the ball all day (and they will) and give up anywhere near the 50/50 average in completions, the Colts don't have a chance. And of course, if we do decide to throw, the Colts are dead last in completion percentage at 66.1 http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/stats/b...nce=NFL&year=season_2010&sort=1139&timeframe=
