They've both said a million times they won't coach for each other. Plus I'd imagine any of the coaches Holmgren brings in will be offensive minded, meaning it'd behoove them to retain Rob.

When Rex first took the job Rob was available. I believe Rex even said something along the lines of them not being able to work together because of what Buddy went through when he had both of them on his staff. Screams of nepotism etc etc and he said it'd be difficult if he had to fire his brother. Then again leading up to the cleveland game he did say it'd be nice to work again with him someday.
It seems like people here think that because Rob has the same personality as Rex he's sure to get hired.... Isn't it possible the connection hurts his chances with some teams? Most people don't like RRs personality. Food for thought. Hiring Rob Ryan as your HC sure as hell can't be based on his body of work, either. Guy hasn't been nearly as successful as Rex was as a DC.
