He's one of the better ones, maybe not the best. It's hard to compare with different schemes and front-7 personnel. From what I've seen he's one of the best #2's. I haven't seen a lot of the other teams since I stopped buying sunday ticket though.
Of course it is impossible to say he is the top #2 in the league and I couldn't do that even if I wanted to because I don't focus much on other corners when watching random games. I had a feeling that he had put up very good numbers this year and your post confirmed it.
He's been a long way from outstanding this year. He's been serviceable. This idea that he is a "shutdwown corner" is ridiculous. He gets beat plenty, and when was the last time he came up with a big INT? I don't mind a guy giving up a big play now and then, but how about making one once in a while??
Is anyone calling him a shutdown corner? If they are, then they're definitely overrating him. He's a very good #2 corner, and yes he gets beat. He's still one of the better #2 CB's in the league.
If Cromartie didn't do the job he did while Revis was out, would the Jets be fighting right now this last week to get in the playoffs? Very likely.
It's the winning post if he can provide a citation to those numbers... His cryptic response as to his source is like anonymous quote in a newspaper. I have no reason not to assume he just made those numbers up?
WSW is a respected poster. I don't know where he got the numbers or why he won't say where he got them but I can guarantee you he didn't make them up and they are likely from a reputable source.
I understand why you would think this way. All I can say is that they are definitely from a reputable source and I did not make them up.
No, but he finally stands up for himself and tells Ellis to stop flicking his ears during film sessions.
Once again I am proven right. Where is my worst poster 2010 award? 3 Receptions 43 yards per game is getting burned on a consistent basis. Let me tell you. I guess you didn't realize that Johnny Knox and Mike Wallace are two of the fastest players in the entire NFL.
So, Cromartie gives up a touchdown in the Bears game and now everyone thinks he gets beat all the time? He's one of the better #2s in the game. Period. If there was any sort of pass rush...damn I'd love to see the show he'd put on.
I feel like I'm sitting on a carousel with Junc and we just keep seeing the same thing over and over and over again.
Cromartie just needs to be more physical comin off the line like they mentioned tonight on AFC Playbook.
I don't know exactly but I know I see him getting beaten consitently every single game. I don't know what that proves exactly. What is TA? is that Lito's #s this year? what does this mean? isn't the higher comp % against Cromartie telling us more than any of those other #s anyway? Please post some context in relation to those #s and where this info is coming from. i don't think you are making them up but w/o some explanation on the interpretation of the #s they really are meaningless. No he is not, what do those #s even mean? There's no way only 3 receptions are being completd on him per game. Per half maybe but no way per game. Do you think I will ever run and hide from an argument? It's great that you posted those #s, what do they mean exactly? W/o explanation I see a player that has a higher comp % against him than Lito- that seems to be the most important #. Why are you afraid to disclose where you got the info from and what it actually pertains to? since you have that info please show us a per game breakdown.
he's been giving up TDs and big plays all year. I am calling BS on those #s. In the Miami game alone he allowed 10 for 166 to marshall. So he's only allowed 32 recs and 38 yds in the other 14 games? Who is buying this?
