I guess they expected the Vikings to just roll over, and they aren't. They have nothing to lose. Plus Vick is actually looking human. He outta have 2 more INTs than he has.
Next year if Favre retires are they going to do play by plays of him taking a dump? They show him every five minutes shivering on the sidelines.........If I was producer I would do this..... One shot the first minute of the game. "Thanks for the memories Brett and go fuck yourself!" Of course that would be my last game producer. But it is better to go out on a high note, unlike that backwards ass country fuck.
If the Vikings can hold on, it will be their first win in Philadelphia since that freaky game on December 1, 1985. That game was reminiscent of last week's Eagles-Giants game. The Vikings scored 28 points in basically the final half of the 4th quarter to defeat the Eagles 28-23. Wade Wilson started the game at QB for Minnesota. He played the first half and was ineffective. I will assume he was pulled for that reason. Rookie Steve Bono played the entire 3rd quarter at QB for Minnesota and he played into the 4th quarter. It was his only appearance that year. He was 1 of 10 for 5 yards. Wilson came back in at the 11:43 mark of the 4th quarter and directed the Vikings to a touchdown at the 8:27 mark. Eagles 23, Vikings 7. The Eagles would fumble on their next two drives. Willie Teal (the same guy who somehow could not tackle Tony Dorsett on the 99-yard run a few years earlier even though he had the angle on him) returned one fumble for a touchdown. The other Philadelphia fumble led to Wilson's 2nd touchdown pass. Eagles 23, Vikings 21. After a Philadelphia punt, Wilson directed another drive that ended with a touchdown pass. Vikings 28, Eagles 23 The teams would meet again on 12/22/85. That was a freaky game, too. At one point the Eagles led 24-7. They blew that lead by the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter started with the score Minnesota 35, Philadelphia 31. Paul McFadden kicked two field goals in the 4th quarter to give the Eagles a 37-35 victory.
Too bad there isn't a Brett Favre counter. I have never seen a QB that isn't starting shown that much.
It's not over yet, but it's pretty clear that Philly isn't going to cover the spread. Betting on football - not for me, because this one looked like it would be a blowout.
Yes in the replay it was clear but, if I had one challenge and it was right before the last two minute warning Id throw it for the hell of it.
