At Raw last Monday, a fan was forced to remove his Hulk Hogan tshirt and was given a "Stand up for WWE" tshirt to replace it, which he either had to wear or be escorted out. As somebody noted on the site where I read about it, the whole Stand up for WWE campaign was started because Connecticut said you couldn't wear WWE apparel when voting last month. Now how much more hypocritical can you get than Vince McMahon? Thank god those people never got near any real power.
CM Punk leads the Nexus now, so can we ditch the Nexus stuff and recreate the SES? Either way, great move. I always thought the whole Nexus storyline sucked, but Punk does a great job as a charismatic leader of no-talent jobbers.
I didnt watch Raw but was he actually revealed as the leader of the Nexus? If so then Punk just single handedly saved that crappy storyline. Is there really anyone on their roster thats actually better then CM Punk? Great matches, great promos, he really does it all.
The show ended after Nexus (without Barrett, under "new management" as Otunga told Cena) beat down Cena for the 3,000th time and Punk came out to the ring, walking through the Nexus guys on the ramp. He did the GTS on Cena, then grabbed a chair and made like he was going to hit Cena in the face with it. Then, he slowly backed down, and unfolded the chair and had a seat. There was a Nexus armband beside him. He picked it up and stared at it, then slowly pulled it up his arm. Stood up over Cena and held his fist in the air, and all the Nexus guys saluted him back with their fist in the air too. The SES symbol.
until last night, both the acting and the storylines sucked recently. smackdown actually had much better of both, although it is supposed to be the secondary show. maybe steph has nothing to do with the writing on that show. btw, what is hhh doing these days?
I love him as a heel but I hate the fact that they make him job while hes a heel. Tweener could work out really well for him also though.
I had Raw ruined cuz of this thread but I still scimmed thru the highlights and the crowd was really diggin Punk. I've always liked him and I'm very curious to see what happens here.

oh man, i was really baked last night. I only saw that cage match, which i enjoyed. Punk is easily the best superstar in WWE right now.
:rofl2: In all seriousness, awesome RAW. Punk is the best thing they have going, but Miz is doing more then his part in carrying the strap. As a HUGE fan of the Dirt Sheet days and Miz and Morrison as a tag-team, I'm happy they both are getting big pushes. I just wish they wouldn't have neutered Morrison as a face character.
Barrett mentioned new recruits on Raw, i'm thinking this will be a Nexus Vs Nexus with Cena involved somehow. I'd rather Cena be out of it though honestly
Yep I was thinking that either Nexus will split into 2 and feud with each other eventually ending the old and stupid Nexus angle finally OR Punk will lead them while Barrett will face turn or just face off with someone else in singles competition.
I think Barrett will goto Smackdown and make a splash there without Nexus. Maybe he'll attack someone Big on the Show.
I see what you did there, not a bad idea. Barrett would shine on smackdown but I doubt he goes there just yet with him still being heavily involved in this storyline and all.
It looks like the WWE and Randy Savage have finally made amends as the Macho Man is the official spokesman for the new WWE Video Game - WWE All-Stars
